Wao again my respects. Really I do not know what to say. I know that Mr. Clarke have a collection of synthesizers but it is so interesting that u follow ur learning experience man. My studies are in biology but music for me is like a mystery, perfect mathematics, time and inspiration. Thanks for share ur thought with me man. Let me tell u this, one thing is to read El Quijote or a great book but something else is to live when that book (or song) was written.Big hug man. Evy
Thanks Bio!!! Can u give us a little history about when and how u got inspired to make this. The feel is like been made by Vincent himself. So good. Thanks again man.
@erasermusic Well, Vince Clarke has always been my #1 musical idol, I'm only 18, but I grew up with "POP!: The First 20 hits", and Erasure has always truly been my favorite band (Depeche Mode too). Ever since I knew what a synthesizer was, I've been collecting them. I like Vince's focus on melody, I try and capture that in my own music.
God after 20 years that I love Hideaway this version this music from u Waldorf is great captured the essence of the song really love it how can I have it in my music files? Just love it man My respects very good Thanks. Evy
the original or my version? I think I have the video on my computer still, but I don't have the original MP3. Send me your email and I'll send it to you.
and why not? I didn't write the song, I just sent the midi file through my blofeld to showcase a few of the sounds. I'll probably do another of my own music, but more on the aphex twin side.
I like a nasty filter too, like the Korg MS-10 one.Amazing.That filter is MEAN. Nowadays many synth reviewers and preset makers seem to mistake digital clipping with "mean sound".Digital clipping is plain ugly. That being said, the comb filters on Q/Mq/Blofeld are wicked indeed.
I'm glad I finally hear a Blofeld song/demo that wot't go "schhhhhh hhhHHHhhhshhh tziiiiiishhhhhhhhzzziiiiiiinnnng" -sounds/patches that I hate with a passion and with which both Blofeld and Evolver are loaded as "quality demo" presets...."smart" marketing of "mean machines" ...I have them both, excellent synths but the presets are killing them.
Very clear and good quality sounds in a well mixed track.Keep them coming!
yeah, I see the blo as neither a mean dirty machine or a clean soft machine, it can do both sounds quite well, but the main draw for me was the modulation possibilities, you can make some trippy ass sounds on it
Some of the presets are quite good, many are useless and damage the synths reputation. Anyone who buys one of these machines: you really take the time to learn how to craft your own sounds to get the most from your investment
I love it!

Thanks, you and I kinda think alike. Except I sort of like hardcore synth too.
