See, people shouldn't completely outlaw free videos of movies and whatnot... now that I've seen this, I want to go out and buy it. I wouldn't have wanted to buy it if I just read the summary or caught a 30-second glimpse.

I believe they did all sorts of things, and soon maybe he did die of old age, and by that time his sins of his past came a mistake that he made up for by saving a life.

I've seen the whole movie twice now and I must have watched the last fight scene at least fifteen times. This entire movie is fantastic especially because, unlike almost every anime ever, there is never anything too unrealistic besides, perhaps, some of the acrobatics during the fight scenes.
Thanks for your uploading. This anime has an open ending, if he's dead... its the payment for his sin in past, somehow its a right end for a warrior. But if he's still alive, its another chance for a good man. The soundtrack is great, by the way :D.

@kiata001 Good question about "Nanashi." I might have to disagree with Kazhul178 on this one. The droplets of blood spattering the path, and the fact that he is slumped over suggest that he might well die on the journey. However, I think that it is left up to the viewer to determine whether he will live or die, so if you want him alive, that is fine!
@bendhobbit You'll have to be specific, I didn't see any blood droplets during the end scene horse ride. Also, during the fight I didn't see him get mortally wounded. During the conversation he mentioned how useful the 1 man treasure was. Indicating that it did in fact prevent a mortal blow. I see every indication that he will have to soak that wrist of his, but I think that might be it.

There seems to be a very intentional way that it is shown. And though he mentions how the treasure came in handy, his responses are more and more tired, ending in him losing consciousness/sleeping or perhaps fading away. Still, you could definitely be right. It would be awesome if he lived!
@bendhobbit Wow, you're pretty perceptive. I hadn't seen that till you pointed it out. Perhaps this is like inception where you have to decide whether he is still asleep or not. I hate indefinite endings, but this movie was very good in my opinion. Thanks for the comment back, I could have sworn that there wasn't any blood droplets but apparently I was wrong.
@AvatarYoda yeah youre right, the same century , but i think this one is a bit more epical ( i dont know if its the right word, im from german, so, sorry^^) but both movies have great soundtracks :-)
@ANIBAL1991 i will definatly try, tho configuring this move was quite a pain, some of the audio ended up a tiny bit off, because every time i tried to cut it into bits, the video would be 4-5 seconds ahead of the sound, but besides that, yes you can expect many more movies like this

@kiata001 if your talking about "rarou/laulong" yes he did die, but if yout talking about "nanashi" no he didn't he survived.
