  • what do you but on the car after you soda blast, whats the clean up stage on the car

  • Is soda blasting effective on painted carbon fibre? As in race car body parts?

  • @FormulaVX I would work to blast the paint off of those sort of surfaces, just keep the nozzle a little further away from the surface and don't sit in one area for too long..otherwise it should be similar to blasting fiberglass body panels. Hope that helps!

  • I have TRIED to use one of there "retro-fit" kits that go onto their media blaster. You had better have a HUGE-ASS compressor. I went back and forth with eastwood, the tech told me I needed alot more CFM of air, and we were running a shop comp. and a construction site compressor. NO GO! waisted three days trying everything. Went with stripper, smartest idea ever.

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot If it is a hard to reach are with rust, you may want to check out our "Internal Frame Coating" it is designed to get into tough spots and treat, stop, and seal the rust from forming any further.

  • Man is this slow. Airplane paint stripper and a hot day. Done.

  • Speaking of environmental safety, what do you do about the paint that comes off? I can't imagine you can just wash it down a storm drain...

  • @pf126p Trust me there are worse things going down that storm drain then paint chips. Besides the same can be said of pretty much any blasting media. Sand can cause silicosis which is a slow agonizing death, walnut shells are environmentally friendly but sometimes just isn't abrasive enough, bead blasting can also be bad for your health as well as sheet metal if not done right. At least baking soda is water soluble and edible and at most might give you a sinus or respiratory infection.

  • If you are a retiree and taking classic resto....stay away from this tool.....you will never live to see your project finish.

  • I respect advertisers on youtube tbh. It's not forced infront of you during a break on tv which annoys me usually.. alas i dont pay attention to them.. atleast on youtube the majority of the time you have the potential to view descriptions for what product you want/desire :)

  • you could sand paper faster than that

and no duh it dosent harm glass or chrome

    its a peice of crap

  • this is not nearly fast enough, you couldn't do a quarter in 10 min at this rate

  • pretty awesome.

  • oh my. that must take hours to finish at 7cfm

  • how much are the two showed?
