Yardena is lovely, such a gorgeous woman! I love this song so much, cheers me up everytime I listen to it. I don't think it would have done better than Avi Toledano though, Nicole would've won the Songcontest anyway. I think if Israel had chosen this song, they also would've become second in 1982 (but hey, it's just a wild guess). Hora and Musica Nisheret are two amazing songs, from an amazing year, from an amazing country. Lots of love from The Netherlands. :)

Not just in your eyes. Yardena Arazi was one of the most beautiful women to grace TV screens in the early 1980s. I think perhaps the only one who could challenge the supremacy of Yardena's beauty in those days was Dynasty's Joan Collins.

Agreed re: "Hora", don't see how that song could have won over this one. And, haven't the Eurovision entries, overall, become generally worse each year? They seemed way better back then.

It's because it seems that Israel think the way to win is to prove to everybody in Europe that they don't hate Arabs and want peace too, hence all of the new 'message' songs (not including that Boaz guy)
