  • Bagdatis must be pretty cool. Check out his ex longtime girlfriend.

Cut Paste "Elite Model Camille Neviere" Nadal's groaning is grotesque.

He can never be great because of it. It's as faggy as Federer and the

rest of them floppy on their back when they win a a slam.

  • is this court small or just me?

  • Baghdatis is a class act!

  • Watched him court side beat Rafa in Cincy on Friday. I never saw them play and didn't know what to expect. All I knew is that Marcos had never beaten him. If I'd watch this clip, I would not have been so surprised. Even though Rafa is my favorite player, Marcos earned himself a new fan that day.

  • for a pudgy guy, baghdatis plays some pretty convincing defense

  • lol i ended up being right, he finally did beat nadal. gotta love baghdatis, but i also love rafa too.

  • @BrotherTree1 That has to be the most overused phrase in the world...

    "gotta love"...

    why? haha

  • I think Baghdatis is the god of comebacks, in tennis.

  • marcus plays alot like agassi

  • 0.57 wuau

    nadal rocks:D

  • @ffallenaangel baghdatis played well in this match also but i agree

  • i think baghdatis can beat nadal now tho..he seems renewed and fresher now in this 2010 season, and beat federer in 3 sets (at indian wells) too XD

  • love baghdatis' positivity.

  • @lolist98 3:16 and tell me rafas backhand is weak. he's natrually right handed and can get great strength out of that wing.

  • great battle. wish i could see the whole match.

  • cro91 - i get your point, but if you are referring to % points he wins when he comes to net, then I am not surprised - he generally only comes in to volley when his approach is so good he can't not win the point. My guess is the other 20

% is when he is not there by his own choice, or he is required to volley well. So I guess I kind of agree with myst, but I haven't looked at the technique. Of course, I could be wrong, but as a stats argument it is pretty weak by my reckoning.

  • Funny how Nadal has absolutely no feel on the volleys. Nadal vollying well is like an elephant ice skating in an elegant manner. Impossible.

  • to bad this match is two years ago. think before you type.

  • And his volleys haven't improved, still poor technique, poor shoulder turn

  • you are retarded.maybe nadal didn't play volley 2 years ago but now he wins over 80 pts on net.!!!

  • @cro91Maderfaker nadal is amazing at net but some of what penfoldificationful said is true so he is not retarded

  • @mysteriekiller incorrect.

  • its same tha he has so many injuries . he is a promissing player

  • baggy should have won this match, his game went off ever so slightly during that 2nd set and nadal raised his and that is all it needs to do for nadal to take control he is that good.

  • Baghdatis has some really good groundstrokes and nice volleys. Surprising he has'nt won a slam yet or won more atp tournaments.

  • hes been plagued by injuries over the past two years but he was in the final of the AO in 2006

  • his best year was probably 06

  • his game is so intensive i hope he'll still be able to play so good in 2 years... btw it is a long way to go for him to replace federer in our minds, roger is simply the most talented and ideal tennisplayer!

  • I dont think that to be remembered long one has to win gs. Its what you bring to the game. Mcenroe always as ousted everybody in the media not cuz he won the most grand slams but because of his charisma. Sampras will be forgotten before agassi and mcenroe, not to say that he isnt the greatest of all time, he is but to be remembered, you have to do great things and nadal has done greater things than federer. Not in count, but look at the matches he has won n in what condiftions.

  • my friend.. are you retarded ?! nadal brought to the game more than FEDERER ?! COME ON.. you cannot be serious.. :|

  • nadal = messi , for nadal messi is the best footballer and for messi nadal is the best tennis player so...

  • Federer's more like like Messi. Rafa's more like Steven Gerrard = force of nature.

  • federer's more like Ronaldinho.. talented, elegant and so gracefull.. both had a wonderfull seasons since 2003,2004,2005,2006,2007.. but both had a terrible 2008 season :)

  • two grand slam final´s, 1 grand slam win, doubles gold medal in beijing..<-that´s just awfull, terrible!

  • nadal=cristiano ronaldo

  • hopefully Baggy will be ready to play next year he is soooo much fun to watch.

  • It is Pagdhatis(Παγδατής),not Baghdatis.Great player and tough opponent...!!!

  • and for that he deserves better, it´s impossible not to like someone like marcos baghdatis..he´s an authentic gentleman, he´s got so much heart!

  • they both have good relationship

  • Vamos Rafa!

  • Baghdatis rules. He is a true tennis sportsman. Even when he loses he tells Nadal he hopes that Nadal himself wins. What sportsmanship. ;) Go Baghdatis!!!

  • @cpark02 what the fuck did you just say ? Even when he loses he tells Nadal he hopes that Nadal himself wins...?????????

  • @cpark02 absolutely, he´s a great guy for the sport..

  • @Victor8939100 it´s probably best if you share that with your boyfriend´s, no offense..

  • Comment removed

  • @Victor8939100 instead of victor, maybe should put victoria then,(I imagine that´s your name) otherwise, people are going to think you´re a male homo, just a thought..

  • shut ur mouth u fag. federer will be remembered longer than nadal. i like nadal too but y cant u just agree that they are both great players

  • Toi aussi, ta gueule, sale couillon!!! Yes, they're both great, but Nadal is the best, he's the world number one, he'll be remembered longer than federer!!!

  • yea but nadal is just starting in the new generation. if federer was at his best he would thrash nadal. and federer was number one for longer than anybody else.

  • No, it's not true!!! Ok, let's stop arguing, they both are great, ok?

  • nadal made federer cry like a bitch in Australian open

  • well..if u came so close to getting your 14th major and would have broken a record..it has to hurt to lose..and nadal didnt face many good people anyway..he only had like..1 5-set match b4 facing federer

  • not in public. and he shouldnt have spoken if he thought he was going to be emotional. its disgusting to see a 14 - time champion cry like a little girl in front of the world.

  • this could have been one of the greatest matches in atp masters series events

    who agrees??

  • 3:16-that's true that sometimes nadal's backhand is super powerful

  • i think nadal is way better than bagdahtis i mean nadal is no. 1 now

  • The biggest thing with marcos has always been his fitness. Every tennis player knows the drills they should be doing day-in day-out. Its a matter of doing them. So far this year though, he is not doing well. First round at roland garros, and 2nd at wimbledon (?)

  • seems like he´s had some injuries, he barely played this year..

  • wat the hell this nurde is talking about.

  • do you mean the umpires overule at set point federer in the australian open final two years ago? that decision was absolutly right! baghdatis ball was out!

  • Baghdatis is a great player. He may not be at his best now but in the australian open he was 52nd seed but he did beat Roddick,Ljubicic,Nalbandian and took a set from Roger Federer at the final.Only Federer could stop number 52 in the world Marcos Bagdhatis.

  • Both players have great personalities.

Look at how they smiled with each other at the end.

  • Given his size, Macro is great player...

  • the magician is much shorter and was top ten for a while. There is a "good size to-be" (6-1 - 6-3 or so) but it does not have THAT big of an influence. AND marco is not that short. Its all about the skillz/fitness/ mentality.

  • marcos wished him good luck for the final, what a great guy..he deserves better!

  • Nadal was playing his best. And Marcos is a great player, but bNadal was to strong for him.

  • 05:40 : Wow !! What a passing !!!

  • what a backhand from nadal in 3.16!

  • buen nivel de nadal , impresionante!!

  • Marcos gets tight too much. He almost always has crappy starts, and if he ends up losing the start, its hard for him to pick it up.

  • poor baggy

  • one of the best matches of the year, too bad it was rafa who won, i respect him but that tournament has shown that Marcos is still in the list of great players, i hope 2008 will find him higher in the rankings

  • what a shot by baghdatis at 1:15 on break point

  • plus i don't think marcos would have been blown out by nalby in the final. it would have been a good matchup like that of ferrer, similar styles. but poor rafa got served in the final. ouch!

  • baghdatis woulda owned nalbandian...just like he did in AO 06'.....lol yeah if he did make it to the finale...he'd win...coming back from a 1 set deficit...

  • that was a fantastic match!both played very well,I was so glad that rafa was through to final even though he was crushed by Nalbandian.Vamos Rafa, good luck in Shanghai!
