I'm sure you've looked up and now know but just in case haha. They executed Fromm because he entertained the idea of joining them for a while or the fact that he executed them against Hilter's orders to take them alive to cover up his involvement and they figured that out. Also what I think Cruise yelled just before he got shot was "long live sacred Germany"

The accent was British because they were all British actors

LOL theres no such thing as a european accent and most of the actors in the film were English its funny how they always play nazis in films.
