What the mark will be is still an open question. However, it seems pretty plain that it will be a physical mark, since it will be needed for buying and selling, and the last time I checked, credit systems don't scan your soul. ;)

RFID may not be the mark. However, it fits it to the 'T' They put them IN your hand. The intention is to link the credit system to RFID, hence you won't be able to buy or sell without it, once cards / paper money is done away with. It fits.

Keep in mind that the mark is not anything to do with '666' - thats a common misconception. 666 is the number of the beast's name, not the number of the mark. There's no indication that the mark has anything to do with the number whatsoever.

The problem is that refusing the mark will invade our life. Refusing it will essentially mean we have chosen to become penniless and homeless. Can't pay land taxes without buying and selling.

@lmpulse Your interpretation I believe is a misconception. The mark is called "The mark of the beast". This means that the mark contains the name/number of the beast.

'OR' means they are correlated/mutually related.
