@farrar000 they also have hi hats that have a lever at the top so you can use it closed and reengage when you press the pedal down,and then can hit the lever again to drop the hi hat to a closed position again(i dont know if thats what lars was doing in 1 ) oh and no pun,lars is a good drummer but look up Buddy Rich :)

Picked my first string 39 years ago. My lineup consist of 1 guild, 2 Carvin and 2 Ibenez axes with a Line 6 and a Peavey Chorus 212 with a custom made amp run both dry and mixed out the back. The custom amp is based on the Mesa Boogie Jimi Hendrix used to play when being a famous guitarist actually did mean you knew how to play - not this crap you are filling your skull with today. Built it totally from scratch using a modied MTX Cranker 12" woofer and extra-large transformers with tubes. NEXT!

Actually, I will admit they write some catchy tunes and I like won't usually change the radio station to avoid hearing SOAD, but from a musician's point of view, it looks to me like the guy has been playing about a maximum of 5 years on his axe, and he just doesn't impress me. I'll tell you someone who I like watching play that I guess I would be jealous of is yobroman. Check out some of his videos on youtube, and you'll see what I mean. He plays like I wish I could. I'm pretty good, but not a natural by any means. My 39 years of playing has given me about the same abilities as someone who is a natural will have in about 7, or maybe 10 years? Anyway, I'm very confident if I were to have a talent contest with just me and the SOAD guy, I would win with no problem.

Know how they got their name? It was a quip Keith Moon of The Who made when he heard about them. He said "That'll go over like a lead zepellin", so when Page and Plant heard about it, they named their band. And now you know the rest of the story...
