hi, i am learning RRV and this vid is very helpful. the view of your banjo and speed of play is great. if you get time Wildwood Flower and New River Train are on my agenda. great stuff. Dermot
this is great, man. i have been wondering how i can just frail along to songs that i know the chord progression to but don't know how to pick the melody. i can just alternate between the 3rd and 4th strings, right?
@TenaciousFlea Yes this is one way that sounds good with a lot of songs. The alternating bass gives the song a feeling of movement. But you really can't hit a wrong string if you're in the chord progression.
it's a very beautiful video! I love this song and I play frailing banjo too (beginner). You do a very good job to make this instructional. Thank you very much!
enjoyed it goojob
