I thought so, too - kind of a brash version of Dudley Doright. But what he revealed about the efficacy of the SEC is definitely not funny. Given that he gave them everything they needed to pull Madoff's covers on 5 occasions and they did nothing with it, it's very difficult to believe that incompetence alone accounts for that. It's looks more like someone inside was covering Madoff's back.
