scientific evidence: studies (preferably trials) on humans published in peer-reviewed journals. Anyone can have a patent filed; they are to make sure no one else copies you, they are not to prove your device works. Have you found any published studies, or just the ones on the patent?
And doctors have good reason to be afraid, even the patent refers to one patient dying and others developing enlarged livers. Their job is to keep the patient alive
