I've never seen anybody use the side, that's interesting.

@1jeans Please be careful when using the side of the grinding wheel. You don't want to weaken the structure by cutting grooves in the side, for example.  But, as you can see, it works fairly well, depending on what you need to do. The end result here is a sharpened point that can penetrate an aluminum can, and many other objects, as well (including tough dirt in search of roots).
