@GremlinDFA no not really the audi s4 and m3 arent a good comparison the price range falls withing the 335i which are still really fast cars. youd have to put it up against m3 vs rs4 which would blow a load all over the m3 in a straight line including the track, look and everyday activities having an incredible awd system that can handle anything from snow to launching in the rain. the b6 and 05.5 b7 s4 are by far more appealing cars for the price of that m3

the BMW doesn't catch up to the S4 WAGON until the end of 3rd gear, thats around 97 mph, in the real world that makes the Audi the victor, not to mention it has loads more space and the practicality of an amazing Quattro AWD system. Introduce a bit of rain into this race and say bye bye BMW. However the BMW is the impractical emotional choice, "the better drivers car"

Is anyone even considering the fact this is a race between a 4-door avant (wagon) and a coupe? The S4 has to way a few hundred lbs more. M3 is a lean simple machine. That S4 is one bad ass grocery getter. More reliable, all-season dependability. Audi is class. BMW reminds me of the lil' engine that could...always trying to hard to get attention...like most of it's drivers.

M3= unreliable , no grip in wet conditions. Audi = heavy car ,but with very good stability. I take the Audi since power means nothing in a bad rainy day.
S4 Launch is overrated - on the vid there was some confusion - the Beemer thought the S4 was going so he started, then he dipped the clutch when he realised the S4 hadn't started....then the S4 took off!! Beemer has only marginally less beans even though its giving away 2 cylinders and nearly a litre of volume. S4 remains a cult car, but give me an M3 anyday.
thats cool, i'd get an e46( if i had to), but where i live you just blend in, who doesn't have an e46? they are extremely cheap! i'd rather go with audi, there new line up looks way prettier than any beamer of the same class. =P
