@InfiernoSupremo u donno what u talkin bout. once again - this is not an ALL TUBE amp, as marshall jvm, peavey 6505, mesa boogie dual rectifer etc. Actually most Blackstars have SS in their sound chain.
@Vlodimer Bro it doesn't matter how many tubes are in the preamp. it can be full tube with only 3 or 4. however i do believe blackstar has some solid state in it as well.
does it have diod clipping since it only has 3 preamp tubes for higher gain?

full valve? 3x12ax7 in preamp, cant be full valve
Vlodimer 7 months ago
@Vlodimer why? it;s full valve, no digital, 1x12AX7 for OD1 and 2x12AX7 for OD2, they are for the gain of OD.

Claro que si, son 100 watts de valvulas, normalmente en un pub o bar o lugar para 200 le doy la mitad del volumen

seems like the bottom string is out of tune!

not really a nice tone...it needs to be thicker
taxo 1 year ago
@taxo I think it's because the gain isn't set high enough.
maccatheguitarist 1 year ago
@maccatheguitarist No, that's because it's going through a camera mic. If you turned the gain up anymore it would just get thin and fizzy sounding.
BryanFTWL 1 year ago
@BryanFTWL Yeah, that'd make sense. I just thought that because it's a tube amp; if the gain/volume is low then it doesn't sound as good.

That is anything but metal..

A very vicious bite and the Vintage 30s round it back out. Nice combination.
