There's some sort of glitch in mw3 that won't let some people get the emblems and titles for the model 1887. I got 2500 kills and 500 headshots with the 1887 and I only have 1 emblem/title for the 1887.

if you look closely on the 1887, it says "Hasta la vista", go and try it. Shoot reload and look on the gun, it should say it. Thumbs up if you see it. XD

I totally agree with the inconsistency issue. It can be a real pain in goolies. It did take me a small while to get used to it but now, with the aid of the damage proficiency, it works most of the time. I've also gotten a lot of collaterals with it :D

Still should make the rechambering animation more awesome.

the reason you failed with it is because you ads with it. it has bee proven that with steady aim and you aim diwn sight it fucks up the spread of the pellets, if you watch carefully all his 1 shot kills are when he hipfires.
