  • If it wasn't so rough round the edges you could easily be convinced this was a Stereolab demo

  • I'm so attracted to Aggie, especially in this video. love the way she would shyly hide behind her fringe.

  • So the Pastels were very much into speedway or???.Hence the song "Speedway star" i guess?

  • i think this may be my favorite pastels song. that's a hard choice for me to make, though.

  • wow, was this released in 1995??!!! great indie music

  • Yeah, but I don't finded it complete, sorry.

Now there is a collaboration with Tenniscoats band

  • Not to my knowledge....

  • have the pastels recorded anything recently?

  • Hola!! Muchas gracias por el video ! Leî por ahî que Los Pastels habîan sido sponsors de un motociclista...Pues quê sorpresa ver al afortunado deportista apareciendo en el vîdeo =)

  • Where is the Coming Through vide. Please get it back

  • By the way, does anybody know chords for this?

  • I like specially Coming Trough EP, from 1987

  • can anyone please tell me a good pastels album? i'm unfamiliar with them.

  • mobile safari, or sittin pretty would probably be your best intro...i mean illumination and up for a bit are good, but i feel like the other two give you a bit of the great and a bit of the rough, and let you sort it out for yourslef wether you want to go all in.

  • Mobile Safari

  • Same as above, Mobile Safari and Sittin Pretty

  • Somebody could tell to all the fuckin' drummers, it's like that they should play.

    Moe tucker style, it's best.

  • Where Worlds of Possibility gone ? Put it back you little tinkers, and where's the end of Yoga? This is great though, one of the Pastels best moments - and the video -"I think it's a Hockney"

  • Awesome!

  • steven used to run a fanzine in glasgow called "juniper berry berry" it was cool mentioning the local bands in glasgow like aztec camera, orange juice, thier 1st single was called heavens above,in all these years they still sound just as fresh now!

  • Yeah, wtf happened to "worlds of possibilities"? Also, the version of that song in the video was different than the one on mobile safari. Anyone know where I can find the video version of that song?

  • please return the video of "worlds of possibility" !!!

  • where'd worlds of possibility go?

  • PLEASE STICK THE END BACK ON!

  • miss the pastels...

  • I really miss the pastels

  • So so good. Definitely reminds me of stereolab's earlier records.

  • sounds so fresh......

  • Agree with the comment about the out of tune voice...it gives them their own character, and really works...

  • Excellent.

  • This is genius, and what a great video, (Fellinesque) pity it is clipped at the end. Viva the Pastels, may they live for ever - as we say down here in NASA - what is created can not be uncreated.

  • Exactly, besides, they go together in gig during 1993 and make a fanzine called Pamfletti. This song is very influencied by Stereolab first singles' sound, but it have something special, perhaps the bass line and the out of tune from Aggi voice...

  • 1995. Just when Pastels got inlove with Stereolab guitar and chorus drone. 5 stars
