how is this copying cnc? I'm not sure what you're basing that statement off, but Warcraft 3 went 3D before CnC did. Warcraft/Starcraft = Blizzard, CnC/RA = EA.

If you're saying that they're copying because you can build and use units etc...This is an RTS game. That's basically like saying Halo is copying Counter-Strike.

Haha, the Viking is like a Transformer.

A lot of people talk crap on SC2, that it's not as advanced or strategically challenging as DoW or CoH, but I think a lot of RTS gamers prefer the type of RTS that SC2 and Warcraft has to offer.

I read an article about that potencial problem somewhere, and according to it they were able to play the game without any kind of lags even during heavy battles, using maybe not a crappy cpu, but something very average, so you should be fine.

idk. i feel like the small unit numbers made the game more balanced. you couldnt just mass one type of unit because you couldnt control them. i feel like them letting you control such a large number of units makes it easier for noob tactics to work.

Sort of, but some technical aspects (building ad-ons, resources, and just the story line itself) are pretty different. Even still, Warcraft users shouldn't have much trouble in the transition from one to the other.

The similarities between 40k and Starcraft are so basic it isn't even funny. Cry more.

Also, while Starcraft units are inspired by 40k units, 40k has also taken ideas from SC as well. Example; the 4th Ed Tyranid codex was introduced after Starcraft was released. One of the new units is the Ravener, which is very clearly based on the Hydralisk (burrows, is snake-like).
