@RENNE1ROBERTS In order to release Kairi's heart, which was residing inside his heart, he used the artificial keyblade open his heart, so her heart would go back to her body. This allowed Kairi's heart to leave and darkness to enter his heart, thus he became a heartless.

I remember playing KH in my childhood,and when i came up to this scene,and he smiled,he was just too cute.BUT THEN he stabbed the freakin keyblade in his (cute) chest,it was like something from a horror movie.My GIANT crush for all the gameplay had sacrificed!! i remember a tear falling down my cheek and one behind another one in my dads arm.But the he just went alive again,and i literaly made a party,lol. It was the "Sora revival party" lol.I remenber the bunch of sora fangirls in my house lol.

I don't think Sora had the other hearts, only Kairi's and Ven's.

If I remember correctly, the keyblade Sora used to unlock his own heart was made up of the hearts of the other Princesses of Heart.

the keyblade had the other 6 hearts thats why the keyblade disappeared and the hearts showed up.
