listen to the gearing difference to. is the cortina a std 4 speed? the escort sounds like a close ratio 5 spd.

We have a 2000E box in it (std 4 speed). Not sure about the Hoinville Monster wrt gearbox, but it is a 2ltr BDG that he can rev out to 10k if needed!!!
