  • Ed King looks like Otis Campbell with long hair. But there will never be a band like this anymore. EVER. Rock isn't dead but its hurting.

  • I´m from the south to. Southern Sweden. Perhaps not a Country Boy but I like what I hear.

  • people who like zepplin listen to Skynyrd but they don't HEAR Skynyrd man, not knocking zepplin just sayin

  • I love lynyrd skynyrd, and this song is kick ass...

  • i love lynyrd skynyrd

  • You boys sound purty good, but you look like ya been taking some dope, and drinking.

  • im from the south [england], a country boy also a bonfire boye. id never live in a city, not my scene. great track as well.

  • Lynyrd Skynyrd IS THE BEST ANYTIME !! I'M FROM THE SOUTH ( SPAIN) CADIZ!! WE'RE THE MOST SIMILAR TO REDNECKS! Myself in the same situation as Skynyrds they were from a redneck city of more than 250 k in that time and i'm from a big town of 125 k so although some folks could tell me i'm a slicker and maybe they were right i tell you lots of my way come from the rural south, my pa and their family are crackers. Anyway peace to yourself and dont let the devil put you down!

  • New york city, over a thousand miles away, and i am sure as hell i like it that way, especially after my last experience.

  • Imagine lynyrd skynyrd Feat. the allman bros in the 70's

  • Ronnie, Ed, Gary, Allen, Leon, Billy,& Artimus, givin' 'er. What else is there?

  • Some people rag on the Lynyrd Skynyrd of today. Give JVZ some credit, at least he kept the band alive all these years as best he could. He's got some great tunes, but Southern Rock just isn't as big today as it was back in the 70's. But the man deserves our respect for keeping his brother's band alive.

  • @PlanTonto you got it right man. But even in the seventies, i wasn't born then so i'm not sure, was southern rock even that big a thing back then past the Dixie line.

  • @Kahunabro1997 Not really sure. I lived in Virginia, just barely inside the Mason-Dixon line, I know it was pretty popular there. I think bands like Skynyrd sucessfully crossed any line. They just had a very down to earth feel to them.

  • @danoto1000 um its southern song

  • white mans music,great stuff

  • Ed King with a Les Paul? I never seen him without either Strats or SGs. Thank God for YouTube.

  • THIS....... THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF A BAND! Damn these guys were so amazing. This video is amazing too, in all my years I had never before seen this. RVZ with no hat. Ed King playing buttery cream on slide, Allen Collins just being Allen, and Leon singing harmony. What a gem this was, thanks so much for posting it!

  • Why are yall comparing Zep and Skynyrd. Thats just stupid. It's like comparing apple pie to custard pie(get it). Both are grade A, top of the class shit. Good lord.

  • these guys were veteran players even in their 20s. You don't see talent like that anymore.

  • i'd long ago gotten sick of lynyrd skynyrd, thanks to repetitious classic rock radio. i still love the non-"hits" though, and this is one of the best.

  • singer probably puked when he looked around at san francisco and all the degenerates.

  • Ive never had a band i can connect with like lynyrd skynyrd. EVERY Friday on my way home from college i listen to "comin home" don't get any better than that. Some people say led zeppelin is the greatest, obviously those people have never heard skynyrd.

  • @himmelfrhat1 : Buddy, it reminds me of summer of '75. I was working out west for uncle in Vancouver & listened to Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti steady. Over & over UNTIL I went and bought Lynyrd Skynyrd Nuthin' Fancy because I liked the album cover. The rest is history...to me.

  • @himmelfrhat1 true, i've had a skynyrd cd stuck in my player in my car for months now and can't get it out. i have to listen to it everytime i go for a drive, still not tired of it and i've been listening to LS for ages. cant say the same for zep.

  • @himmelfrhat1 zeps alright, but. a flea on a dog on skynyrd

  • @himmelfrhat1 Amen to that, no comparison as far as im concerned.

  • @himmelfrhat1 Amen to all of that and especially that last sentence. Original SKYNYRD with RVZ just the Best, then and now

  • @himmelfrhat1 ive hears skynyrd, Zeppelin however really is the greatest

  • @MixxMasterKid Man give me some of what you are smoking, zeps not even close to Ronnie and Skynyrd.

  • First time I seen Ed King with a Les Paul. Priceless video...thanx eh.

  • @treblejunkie And you don't see Ronnie without a hat onstage very often, either!

  • this is great

  • Good god. Where does this stuff come from ?! I've never seen any footage from this show. Cheers !!
