Yes, this model, and all the models on the mp3plusmore website can work with CELCOM / MAXIS / DIGI sim card in Malaysia. The phone is unlocked, so you just put your simcard in the phone and use it like a normal phone

You have to use a service provider that uses sim cards with GSM 900 /1800/1900MHz. It won't work with mobile phone service providers that don't use sim cards

It does though because I have once locked mine by complete accident when I knocked it against a door, and then managed to unlock it too. However I couldnt work out how to repeat that situation again. It was something to do with tapping the screen rather than using the buttons I know that much. I know it was locked though because it said so on the screen and I couldnt use it.

Check under your Settings, Security Settings, if there is a keypad lock function, you can set it on off. If there is no such a setting (some of the older models do not have it) then it won't work) I assume yours will have it if your phone seems to be locked. hope this helps!

I have one and it is fantastic. I find it so useful because I lose my phone and lose my watch all the time so now I rarely lose them (of course I suppose I could lose both together now!). Great piece of kit though. one problem, and I'm looking for a solution, how do I lock the phones screen like other phones. I regularly accidentally touch the screen and call someone. Help!

This model unfortunately does not have a key lock feature (I suppose because it does not really have a "keypad" as such). One model that does have a keypad lock is the EG110 that comes with an additional keypad (plus the touch screen).

The face of this watch in this video is 40mm x 40mm (1.6inch x 1.6 inch). That means the flat part of the watch face before it starts bending at the top and bottom (where the camera and microphone are situated). The M810 I referred to in the other video that is tri-band, is 40mm wide and 50mmlong (1.6inc wide and 2inch long). Hope it is clearer now.

Yes there are tri-bands, but not in this model. Check out my Video "GSM Cell Phone Watches" and you can see the other models on the website shown in the video.

The M810 is tri-band and also has a camera. Dimensions: 4cm x 5cm.

Styles and sizes for watches of course depend on one's personal taste. However, if you think of it more in terms of the CELL PHONE part, it can't really go much smaller, otherwise you'll need a magnifying glass to use the touch-screen! This still beats having your iPhone strapped to your arm when going jogging...

how do you unlock the phone?

The phone is unlocked by the factory. It means that you can just put in your simcard and if your mobile phone provider uses GSM 900 or 1800MHz, the phone will work. This model phone does not work in the US and Canada, but there is a new model out that uses GSM900/GSM1800/GSM1900 which will also work for the majority of networks in the US and Canada.
