  • OMG! THIS IS WONDERFUL!!! I did not know this bit of info regarding Duke Mitchell. Thanks..

  • User Schmooze has this episode titled Girls Night out in 2 parts

  • I heard Hi-Fi was a square!

  • @keef186 , you mean four corners?

  • Imagine Fred/Hi Fye playing like Eddie Van Halen between 0:17 an 0:24.

  • They pulled the post that had the Hi Fy episode. I posted the lyrics on that comment board, but it's gone now

  • somebody PLEASE upload this whole episode...POW!! BANG!!

  • @RunawayTrane The Romanian version of Youtube (trilulilu.ro) has the full Flintstones episodes in their "cartoon lair". Check out the list of Flinstone episodes on Wikipedia and then type the title in on Google (or Trilulilu) to find the full episode(s).

  • Fred is that dude

  • The singer, Duke Mitchell, was partnered with Sammy Petrillo as a cheaper version as Martin and Lewis in 'Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla'. It's a classic movie!

  • @Kaffyboy

What are the lyrics? There are some words that I just can't seem to make out.

  • fred got his groove on in this episode! My favorite episode. Thanks for posting.

  • This tune should be on iTunes!

  • @jmjacknife Sorry for the Error. Duke did a wonderful job singing.

  • That sounds like Regis as the voice coming out of the radio !!! Listen when he says troubadour...

  • " remember son dont bet on the races." " faniculi fanicula" "jump in where "

    "Eeeee Yow !"

  • Ha ! the golden fog

  • WHat episode is that?

  • over 50 years since this song came out and yet, it still sounds better than just about anything these days. this is truly an "oldie but goldie"

  • Fred's an Awesome singer!

  • @dolphinluv2413 its not Fred.it's my dad! JM

  • 'reminds me of that Georgia boy.'

  • I love this song from The Golden Smog..Hi Fye..and its rare to hear it in its entirety unless you have the original Flintstones album...I dont know why Wilma and Betty thought Fred couldnt sing, he was a natural!! And that orchestra, for a cartoon, this is actually a pretty hot arrangement...and the end..."Listen to em rock anyway...YEAH!" Easily one of the high points in the series for me! Hi Fye rocks!!!

  • There are a lot of Flintstones sites that say it's actually Alan Reed singing here, but I don't think it's Reed OR Corden. Reed sang his own voice in the Christmas Episode and it sounds nothing like this, and this doesn't sound anything like Corden, either. Another Flintstones mystery!

  • This episode existed before my time, but I'm most greatful for re-runs~ I so loved the Flintstones!

  • Sorry, Henry Corden was a dear friend. That is NOT him singing. Henry did Alan's voice in songs for A MAn CAlled Flinstone and also an Alice in Wonderland cartoon special. Hnery took over doing Fred's speaking vice in 1977 and did it for over 30 years. My he RIP. Thanks

  • @ratpackvegas - Yes, he eventually did take over the speaking voice, as he was already known to the Flintstones producers. Before taking over the speaking voice, he was called in to do singing since Reed couldn't sing, and Corden's voice was similar.

  • @TbirdsOf1965 Alan Reed tried his hand at singing on some Flinstones episodes, one when he tried to do Rock Roll's song, "Bedrock Twitch Twitch", and then after the dream sequence of Pebbles and Bamm Bamm when the toddlers were singing stars of "Open Up Your Heart and Let the Sun Shine In". To Alan Reed and Henry Corden, you are dearly missed but thanks for giving me many childhood memories as Fred Flintstone. A big Yabba-Dabba-Doo to you two.

  • @JayBBluejay wrong

  • @ratpackvegas Sorry for the error. Henry Corden did sing in some episodes but I found out that this episode featured the singing voice of Duke Mitchell.

  • god i remember this

  • lmao I haven't seen this in years. I love the way Fred is dressed.

  • This is a pure CLASSIC
