Hey I downloaded the VC-MP Client & Server & I installed it. It opens properly on my computer & it shows all the servers but when I click on it & the game starts, it starts normally! Please help!

man my problem is that i downloaded GTA Vice City from the Internet, and it works great, then i downloaded GTA VC:MP i can install GTA VC:MP perfectly but then i choose a server and when the game will loading it closes and say "gta vice city had to close for reasons..." (or something like that) someone know if is because my GTA Vice City is the one that i downloaded from the internet thats why i cant play?? cuz when i used to have the game with the CD the online worked perfectly.

@zacary01 Most probably because you didn't instal the audio files, but that means you'll have insert CD into your drive everytime you play the game.

@zacary01 I think there's a tick box during the installation that says "Instal Vice City Radio Stations". You'll need to reinstall the game.

when tick the box and install it , it installs a little bit but then its says:

File: F:\data2.cab

Error: Data Error (cycle redundancy check)

any idea how to fix this or..

@zacary01 change the file location for local disk (C:) i had the same problem but it got fixed, what it was doing was it installed the items in a folder that didn't exist, if that doesn't work and its an .rar file then you need to extract it using 7-zip, winRAR doesn't work for it

@MrRpgmakerkid I suggest you turn off your firewall, it's most probably blocking the gta-vc.exe process form connecting.

I have the answer to all your problems!

When you click on 'internet' or 'official' it doesn't come up with any servers so you are going to have to add them yourself.

Click on 'Add server' and copy and paste the following port codes:

94.23.120.101:5192

62.212.66.199:5196

85.17.200.135:5192

It should now work perfectly

i know what is wrong,,, ppl when u start yar vc:mp 1st time then u must detect installiation of vc...if u dnt do that mp will suck :) u need a vc what make folder named Rockstar games to program files....but you who made this vid where u get that installer i need 1 :D
