  • lol @ 1:43 , some fucker throws his Warriors album on stage and yells ..TAKE IT BACK U SILLY CLAD FOOL!....Numan is like 'is that for me??'

  • Awesome. My Numan Buddy Karl is on this clip. Jumping off the wall in his white moccasins an stood next to Numan when he gets off the bus. BUZZIN!!!!!!

  • the singing in this clip would have been done better by a fucking karaoke singer.

  • please please someone tell me they are gonna bring a dvd out of this concert, seen it in nottingham and was unbelievable

  • Joe Hubbard on Bass ..very cool.

  • This is Sheffield, I think (?)

  • Pity if this all that there is. I just read Steve Malins' notes on Warriors CD and the way the tour set was described - wow! IMHO the costume and hair is awful - really, what's that with S/M leather bondage, it looks ridiculous - but it must've been great show with all the post apocalyptic stuff. Wonder if he'll do anything like it again - would fit the new style of music as well :)

  • @Joriini The blond hair on Gary was good the first time around on during his Replicas-early Tubeway Army days so were the clothes.

  • @Joriini Actually back in 2004 he did bring back a bit of black clothes, black leather and tightness actually. Gary was born to wear tight black pants(trousers). He's poured into them.

  • What a classic period for Gary Numan!, the 'Warriors' album is very under-rated. An album of great electronic precision!! (Y)

  • Oh my god..I was at this concert. 25th September, 1983. Still have the program. I was visiting relatives in the UK, (from Australia) I didn't realise Numan was touring. Cost about 5 pounds. FInally met Numan during the Australian Tour March, 2009. Mentioned I went to the Warriors Tour...He laughed. First tour since his farewell concerts!!!

  • It's missing the...

    You you - Oh no

    Old scars - don't show

    We fall - you see

    Crawl crawl - in love

    I dive - so clean

    Young things - don't scream

    Toys toys - so far

    Boys boys - you are

  • I was at the first night of the Warriors Tour at the Glasgow Apollo, September 20, 1983. It was my first ever gig at the age of 14. I'd been a fan of his since "Are Friends Electric" was first shown on Top Of The Pops. I drifted away not long after the Warriors Tour but I'm glad to say I came back to the fold and am now a big fan of his music again, old and new. Long live Gary Numan, he's a proper legend.

  • Fab .66.

  • wow he sang Remind Me To Smile really strangely. great version

  • Great footage. I went to Deeside Leisure Centre, both nights at the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Rd and then the final night at the Hemel Hempstead Pavilion, which I think was moved to the end of the tour because the set wouldn't fit. So they redesigned it and moved the Hemel gig to the end. Numan is a God.

  • Great album and I love the funky bass live sound.

  • This soundtrack IS the Radio One Late Night in Concert ...I had it on tape (can't find it now..bugger)

I was at the Middlesbrough gig for this tour, the first time I saw the great man.

  • @matelot95

The Middlesbrough one was the first time i saw him and was my first ever concert too. I still have that Radio One live tape i bought in a record fair.

  • great footage,i didn't go to the warriors tour (too young):( so this is the only bit of it i will see, the stage looks brilliant.

    thanks again its brill

  • Very fond memories, I saw him on this tour at Leeds town hall and recorded it on a small tape recorder. All you can hear is me screaming on it, lol. I nearly fell off the balcony when Numan came on stage, proper Numan mania. Linda x

  • i'm with you on this one lobbers. great memories of hammersmith odeon. still as good now as back then.

  • Wow, this brings back memories. Went to the Leicester DeMontford Hall gig. My first live show. 14 years old. Thanks for posting

  • Back in 83 Radio one broadcast this tour (from Hammersmith odeon if memory serves)on their 'in concert series'.I taped it at the time but have lost the tape since!!! Gutted...Anyone got a copy of it??

    Excellant footage by the way!!

  • it's a bit late, but I have that broadcast on tape (and also the glasgow show same tour). Don't know how I'd copy them tho! the quality is dreadful of course, but let me know and we'll sort something out.

  • Is there a greatest hits album out there of his?? I tried but couldn't find one online. That would be worth buying!

  • this was the 1st gig i seen him doing,i remember the usher let us in to early and he was doing a warm up,he went mad and shouted at us to get out lol

  • thank you very much for this !!!

    it's brilliant !!!
