Because Gackt's amazing. :) I thought about this the other day, but those that are completely interested in him and everything get to see another side of Gackt. Like, for example, if you read his blogs. Anyway, if you're interested, investigate, instead of watching fanvideos that portray him in a different light. He's not as egotistic as you might think, and neither is he obsessed with fame or money. He's a good guy, but his fans make him look bad. :)

Plus, he really does have an amazing voice.

True. But the first Cloud it totaly different then the Cloud in the movie. After Vanilla was released, they took that image of Gackt and redesigned Cloud to have the looks of Gackt. So don't say that Vanilla was done after Cloud's newer looks, because it wasn't! Vanilla was recorded in 1999, so PWND!
