What's so bad about the flying? High speed and average altitude tactics work well against AI, you can even dodge Shilka rounds this way. Human players are another issue, gotta use your head against them :)

If your going to hover up make sure your not facing up otherwise you'll be going down. just make sure its even. 3/5 Not a bad run but try to learn how to fly lower to avoid AA weapons.

I know, but that's not the only bad point.

The planes' flight models are actually the ones of the helicopters, with the difference they are much faster, and with some other modifications. If you 've played Falcon 4.0 or any other flight simulator, you know the plane flight models are not realistic at all. Again, this is not a flight sim...

That's not true. The jet flight model is lacking in a lot of ways but it is not the same as the helicopters.

i have Arma and Falcon 4.0, i learned to fly in arma in about 2min, Falcon4.0, still learing and i have had it for 2 years

About that tailrotor, yes .. let´s say i would utilize it if the game would´nt render it useless at speeds higher than 50 knots, km/h or whatever ArmA measures it in :D

Yes he can fly but somebody thought he didnt fly that good and they expressed theire view about that. That didnt sit right with you so you asked that person to keep theire view to them selfs. Well that person doesnt have to keep it to them selfs he has all the right in the world to say that he thinks this dudes flying sucks.

Flying advice:

1) NOE-flying (Nap Of Earth)...HUG the ground, you fly to high.

2) Distance...it's ot a jet, itcan hover....hover at distance...and NEVER fly OVER your target...the term sitting duck springs to mind

3) Speed...remember, it's not a jet...hover...close to the ground.

if u are moving 220+ speed they can never hit u, most of the time. its best to stay under 20m

3) helecopter has strafing capabilities why would you hover and become and easy target for RPG by staying low recommended is 100 m off the ground
