These guys are joking right? If Mosasaurus lived alongside us it would be the Mosasaurus that are going to be running scared. We used to drag out 90 feet long blue whales out of the ocean on a regular basis, these guys are nothing in comparison.
@HyPeRtRaXps3 "no where as near as developed" How do you know? They were developed in a way that filled their role perfectly. Human ancestors developed a high intellect which eventually led to us and our world dominance. But there were many years, millions even, before we got to that. For many years our ancestors had the intellect to survive but it wasnt untill very recent years that we became the apex predators. We have only had this role thousands of years, not millions like the mosasaur
The most dangerous of anything that lived in the ocean? Look up "Jurassic Fight Club: Deep Sea Killers" all five parts, and you'll see two more killers of the ocean that would have easily killed off the Mosasaurus if they still existed at the time. I'd pay money to see a CGI Mosasaurus fight a CGI Megalodon or a pod of Brygmophyseters.
@Wowsx2bu Even though your speculation is correct about a Mosasaur losing against a Megalodon, it would be too late for the Megalodon to even fully evolve if Mosasaur was still in the waters. There wouldn't be anyway a Megalodon could survive to adulthood when Mosasaurus was the Gladiator of the water and killed its own species not for food alone. Beside the fact, I personally love Mosasaurus more than the Megalodon.
Humans would be PETRIFIED of going near water until we could invent the Submarine :)

i wonder what humans evolved to after millions of years... or are we just keep hitting the B button?
YourPainfulMEMORIES 4 weeks ago
had these mega beasts survived we would have wiped them out for one reason or another by now XD
Dafidd 2 months ago
@Dafidd Haha yea but I doubt humans would even have been able to evolve to our current state with dinousaurs around.

its funny,all life = no where as near as developed as us yet most of them have been here way longer?
makes me wonder it really dose,and it should me everyone wonder,how come we so advanced and they lived longer and they nerver really changed??
a huge gap is missing here and it dont take a scientist to figure that out.

ill tell you what would have happend if they survived, a MASSIVE lack of fisherman willing to do the job thats what

@kizzer134
Nah. We would have tried to hunt them into extinction. Fire the harpoons and such.

Mosasaurus could have eventually evolved into land animals if they weren't extincted.

im sure if Mosasaur was still around, human would still find a way to hunt and kill them just like how we kill sharks and other sea/land animal.
