yeah his interview was great. with all the suits and studio execs dropping gavels on what and what doesn't get made in hollywood, i hope writers like Nick and others who care about the craft continue to make films for a long time.
LOL! I moved to LA in the mid 70's and met one of the producers of Texas Chainsaw. Nice guy but you would never suspect him of producing a movie like this. Just fell into the whole deal and laughed all the way to the bank. He was also in Cheach & Chong's Up in Smoke. The scene where two guys are driving a Mercedes down the road, check him out.
Well truthfully some of the most talented writers in the business possess horrid English skills. That's why they pay some pretentious guy like youself 12 bucks an hour to edit, while they go to France. I'll will however keep your sage advice in mind the next time I am publishing my thesis inside the "Comment on this video" box.
I wrote a dramatic feature script like this. It actually scared me because I didn't know what the characters were going to do. They (the characters) will wake you up all hours of the night & speak or scream at you to tell their stories.
Although 1210donna understands me (as so many other WGA writers) and this conversation is old... how many screenplays have you sold, DUDE? Or should I say, asshole?!
I am sure that i can understand this piece of text, but what exactly do you mean when you say this? I wake up to a similar thing, but i need to know if my experience will affilliate with the description of yours???
love matilda!

Writers are the most important part of the film making process. And yet writers are treated the worst in the business.

@BUDDY6414724297 having just come back from Cannes I hear that ...

If you arent awoken by your stories then you are not a writer.

You're also not a writer if you can't use grammar or punctuation correctly.
Sheesh.

That's not being a screenwriter, dude. That's being schizophrenic.

it's like crazycoolone has written
it's like some force that wakes you and urges you to go write out their story
I don't go with psychics, but I imagine they experience 'ghosts' doing similar.

What was his screenplay ANIMALS turned into?
Kazan mentiond it was bought and it became a movie...though he'd his name/credit taken off,I'd love to know what motion picture is...
sitedecinema 3 years ago
@sitedecinema I think the movie is called Impulse. It is from 1984 (i think). Kazan is credited as Bart Davis.
