They're over populated so this famine is a correction necessary to downsize their numbers. This happens to all pest species that over populate and exhaust their resource base. Africans adopt a high recruitment strategy, that is they will have up to a dozen or more children. Most never make it to adult stage to repeat the process - and just as well as there's too many as is because of all the do-gooder aid. Time to let this famine address the problem and finally restore an over due equilibrium.

on average it costs 1.5 million to drill for a single water well in africa, in the uk it costs around 20k....wonder why that is?????

Ethiopia the other year had a border war with its neighbors over a bit of dead scrub land that was totally useless to any1, how have they got money to do that but not feed themselves?

Geoengineering anyone?? If they can make it rain in Russia and China, why can't Bill Gates make it rain over areas of Africa prone to drought?
Or maybe geoengineering is already taking place and this drought is a direct result??
