My father had a mk VI back in the 60's. Later had Clouds and Shadows. Said the Mk VI was the nicest to drive because it didn't have the rather feeless steering of the later cars. Have it on 16mm cine film doing the ton on the autostrada to Brussels.
@viceroytennis hes right, they feel much sportier somehow than a cloud or shadow. mostly because the steering is faster and more direct, a small price to pay for heavier steering when you park. and of course its the only one with a really nice manual gearbox
lovely! but i have to point out to anyone watching this who hasnt owned one- this is a very quiet car, but it speed there is a lot of wind noise because of the lack of streamlining
