  • What a great show! All bands except the opening band were great. When Mudhoney played, there was dust flying everywhere from everyone in the pit!

  • Mudhoney are awesome - this Tuesday Sydney!

  • pure runge :D

  • Kurt is like spreading toxic gas on the ground with his guitar lol

  • Cool to see Kurt and Mudhoney together.

  • yep if it sounds good 2 me then thats all i care about opinions we all have them some more than others

  • Mark Arm channeling iggy pop. I'll get to fuck brooke shields!

  • What a great tune

  • Mark Arm started the Cobain look :P

  • nahhh this doesnt work for me.....Kurt Cobain is more of a front man than another guitarist in a band

  • GEEZ, MARK ARM IS SOO KOOL,...

(i was tired of everybody commenting on cobain, so i commented on mark)

  • i love cobain xD

  • Cobain is soooooooooo stoned xD hahahahhahahahha lol

  • Cobain is sooooooooo stoned xD

  • Cobain is sooooooooo stoned

  • It's so weird for me... After all nirvana shows/concerts I've watched ..to see Kurt in the back playing guitar but not singing at all.. I think he loves that much more than having to sing cuz he gets to dance while doing so.

  • It's rare to see kurt dancing while is playing.

  • Is Kurt wearing a cardigan sweater over pajamas? I thought the "Grunge" crowd at the time was wearing flannels and Doc Martens.

  • @jkretch72 Nirvana really isn't grunge

  • @TipTheScales27 I was being facetious. Notice the parentheses surrounding GRUNGE. Almost every band that came out of Washington around the early 90's were labeled "Grunge". Jeff Ament commented at a music awards show that he "thought we were grunge" when Pearl Jam won an award for best rock band, or video. He was obviousle poking fun at the media and the whole "grunge" thing.

  • @TipTheScales27 and what nirvana albums have you heard? grunge just means alternative punk rock, its not really a genre. bleach is grungy as grunge.

  • @clydefrog217 Nirvana's more of a poppy grunge. All of their songs have a pop sensability to them.

  • @TipTheScales27 indeed.

  • @TipTheScales27 I don't see the poppy thing in nirvana songs at all, its more a combo of punk and grunge but in all cases it rocks!

  • @niekolas I do. The other bands' lyrics aren't as catchy as Nirvana's. Nirvana is more of their own genre

  • off the fudge packin heezy

  • you lucky bastard..

  • Kurt always wanted that -> I mean on that he is only wanted to rock on guitars somewhere back on stage...he never want to be famous a lot...you can see how he enjoying in playing guitar. (he said it in one interview, I read it so...) ;) R.I.P Dude :)

  • kurt playing a telecaster :)

  • I just want to say that I was fortunate enough to see Kurt live, b4 the Foo began Fighting.

  • @tjplumm

    I hate you! :D

  • Funny how Mark is wearing your pants, before you were born

  • epic combo

  • The beginning was great, it was as if Kurt didn't know what he was playing, and was being taught right then and there.

  • see i am a shredder and i like nirvana i enjoy playing some of thier songs i also enjoy laying kalmah songs it dont matter if you like it its goood music

  • Man, I have heard a thousand covers of The Money will roll right in in my days. This is the only one that comes anywhere close to being as good as the original Fang version. This has nothing to do with the presence of saint kurt, and everything to do with the fact that every one on that stage is playing the fuck out of an amazing song everyone of them obviously loves.

  • @gautham93

Not everything mainstream automatically sucks. If the music is good, it shouldn't matter how popular the band is.

  • @scartissue94 Sadly though, everything Good nowadays, automatically becomes mainstream. The 'Cool' kids start to enjoy it, it becomes theirs, kinda like Prodigy. I really like prodigy, but it upsets me how it is somewhat owned by Chavs and douchebags alike. It's sad how music has ended up these days, so fuck it all, and let's listen to the classics, who's with me?

  • @TaivAsBAND

Just don't mind the others! It works out a lot better when people you know like the same group you're into. I know that dipshits are into Nirvana, too, but I still like that band. I mean have you seen that tattoo of Kurt on the limp biscuit guy's chest?? It's totally retarded!

  • @scartissue94 I just looked it up now, that is freaking terrible. I know a load of people who are 'Into' Nirvana, but generally only know one song.. Smells like teen spirit. I actually think my favourite song by them was Sappy, that is freakin' awesome!

  • @TaivAsBAND

My favorite is Scentless Apprentice! I've never heard anything like that song.

  • @scartissue94 It's a damn good song..

  • @TaivAsBAND I love all their stuff, i've played the riff to Lithium for hours.

  • it's amazing to see footage from this show- I was there and I still talk about it all the time.

  • it's amazing to see footage from this show- I was there and I still talk about it all the time.

  • the person who shot this stayed pretty focused on kurt consitering that he was not famous or even realy a band member.

  • @smilefrown8000 This video is from 1992. He was already famous.

  • @smilefrown8000 He was famous by this point (92) - Nevermind was released in 1991

  • I love MUDHONEY, What a great band!

  • awww kurt at the end :)

  • Mudhoney's opening set for Sonic Youth...

Kurt Cobain played Lee Ranaldo's Telecaster here.

  • is that mark arm on the vocals?

  • @dothack14 yep

  • i cant believe this was on my birthday and my parents didnt take me! - oh yeah, i was 3

  • should've let kurt sing

  • GRUNGE POWER!

  • was he just showing kurt how to play the song? Hahaha it seems like people are willing to worship completely useless arseholes just coz they are told to

  • @christvswarhol I dont get what you mean. Who is useless? Why shouldnt he show kurt how to play the song before they play it?

  • this song is by Mudhoney. kurt liked their music.

  • @andywarstarforever Actually, the song is by Fang.

  • @HillsHveEyes uhhh, hey man, this song is by Fang. not mudhoney. sheesh! like it matters. here's a song of me farting, and only i get to hear it. oh wow! my fart just went platinum. i won a golden vagina. indeed lol

  • Comment removed

  • @andywarstarforever I wasn't tryin to bust yer balls, man, take it easy.

  • @andywarstarforever no its by FANG

  • @andywarstarforever he was a big fun of mudhoney....the same with the melvins

  • This is called "Money will roll right in" and its from Nirvana

Looks awesome with mudhoney and Kurt together

  • @joaoa13portugal NO ,IS NOT FROM NIRVANA.

  • @joaoa13portugal It's from Mudhoney dude... not from Nirvana

  • @joaoa13portugal i know lol, i was just cheering for Kurt and he was in Nirvana, so i decided to say Nirvana 4ever instead of Kurt Cobain 4ever xD

  • Nirvana for freaking EVER

  • This is a Fang song. Fang are Neo Nazies I love skin heads smoke dope & destroy the Handy Caped.

  • Was this before Cobain started to tour with Nirvana and make records and stuff?

  • @janotosinnumeros it said 92 in the beggining genius they were at ther peak

  • @petsBenham oh shit I'm so dumb, I had read it forgot it right away, but you called me a genius so thanks! hahahaha

  • dos grandes: mark y cobain

  • Who is Kurt Donald cobain

I know Kurt Cobain. The singer/guitarist of nirvana but Kurt donald Cobain does not ring a bell

  • @kasangstan Its the same person...Donald was his middle name...

  • "This Songs For The People Who Took My Shoes"...epic quote.

  • Why is no one talking about how great Mark Arm is, huh?

  • The Money Will Roll Right In...

  • @NamelessNLS The Honey Will Roll Right In...

  • Great tune.

  • This right here is why I can't die in peace... I'm yet to attend a kick ass concert by a kick ass artists-band.

  • @pabecral01 Well I'm goin to see mudhoney in 2 weeks so maybe theres still hope yet.

  • why, he playin with them

  • kurt is using his guitar like jimi hendrix lol

he just changed the string round lol

  • the money will roll right in by FANG.i have thier albums"where the wild things are" and "landshark"

  • vvvv agreed, kurt was a great guitar player, definately underrated....also definately one of the best guitarist to come out of the 90's

  • its fun to be a star...

its nice to have a car...

    hahaha, awesome

  • you dont have to be as good as stve vai or eric johnson to be a great guitarist you dumb asses!!!

as long as you can do beautiful riffs, you're a good guitarist..

if the poeple loved your riffs, that means you did a great job!!

most critics nowadays sre just little kids with very little minds..

some kids thought they're better..lets just understand them, they're just kids, they dont really know what they are talking about.

i can play steve vai songs, but i hav great respct for kurt as a guitarist

  • Wow. Cobain Playing a hollow body telecaster? Never seen that.

  • Mudhoney's awesomeness is off the hook! Nirvana used to support THEM.. not disrespecting what Kurt and Nirvana did, but Mudhoney's sound stayed underground. which gave their fans decades of QUALITY albums and shows.

  • cool! a FANG cover--right on!!

  • holy shit!!!!

    =D

  • anybody hear the stooges?

  • who could not like this video??

  • courtney love's theme song

  • @Imnotjames2 courtney love wants to fuck brooke shields?

  • @bigcheesebean Mudhoney are AMAZING you can't say they have no life and feeling! Can't you feel the angst and the humour????

  • @Krueger22 there is a recording :) second disc of 'March to Fuzz' by Mudhoney.

  • @Rocalite I am so jealous :(

  • The greatest rock album of the '90s? Surely that accolade must go to Dire Straits "On Every Street" - their final masterpiece. Brilliant songwriting, Knopfler's wonderful guitar, just a great album.

  • @lgu954k hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • i think kurt was great guitarist. almost every song on nevermind sounded great. nevermind is considered by me to be the best rock album of the 90's. I even put it ahead of ok computer

  • @royalnash Did you know Kurt played guitar?

  • People need to realize wether you play 1000 notes a second or play simple riffs like kurt did, as long as it comes from the heart, then that is all that matters.

  • @6662sides2die666 fucken A

  • @6662sides2die666 Thats what True music is my friend. That's what also makes Kurt Donald Cobain a Legend.

  • @6662sides2die666

Well. No matter how from the heart the simple riffs come, it would be damn cool to be able to play 1000 notes per second cleanly, as well.

  • @6662sides2die666 no, as long as it SOUNDS good. thats the whole point of music. everybody has their own opinion of what sounds good. most people have the wrong opinion

  • its impossible to have a wrong opinion. what's wrong is thinking your opinion is absolutely true. For example: it's your opinion that most people have wrong opinions (which btw makes non sense).

  • @srrdmalak no not my opinion. its a fact

  • @whipchops i'm surprised to see this behavior from a grunge fan. oh well...

  • @whipchops hehhe very right u r

  • @6662sides2die666 Fucking A! :). Either that or a super unknown conscience :P :P

  • @6662sides2die666 exactly, eddie van halen can hit a million notes and jam his ass off but that doesnt change the fact van halen sucks and stands for absolutley nothing (need i mention there all asholes). nirvana were real people they werent an industry machine like nickel back or boston they were people minus the bullshit...nirvana was primal expression simplicity and sicerity to the forefront. boom

  • @6662sides2die666 :*) R.I.P. Kurt!

  • he looks so happy here just jammin with this band not being the frontman...unlike with nirvana, he was just so sick of being the creative force and in the spotlight i think it would have been good for him to do something like this as maybe a side project

  • At first I wasn't really shure if it was Kurt. Then he started smoking and I was like... Ok. It's Kurt. :')

  • aw sweet he's playing his guitar upside down like Jimi Hendrix!

  • @KurtMcGowan Kurt Cobain is left handed bud.

  • @Dereksmonkey o yeah I knew that but most of the time I've seen him with a left handed guitar. Also I dunno why I said that becuase I havent listened to much hendrix anyway yet so Im not a mega fan XD moment of idiocy I guess x

  • @KurtMcGowan well he all he had was righty so he flipped the nut...lol...pretty pawned his left handed off for a bag

  • awesome! what year was this?

  • Why not any comments???

  • Yeah, you'll have to admit

That I'll be rich as shit

    I'll just sit and grin

The money will roll right in

  • AND ILL GET TO FUCK BROOK SHIELDS!

    lol wtf?

  • what song is this? im a new, naive, mudhoney fan, assist me please :)

  • @SamsTown68 this is mudhoneys song

  • @SingeTheBand this is really a fang cover.

  • @stonescourt3 well thats just plain confusing but still cool

  • @SingeTheBand i know, i just didn't know its name. i do now though. thanks anyway :)

  • @SamsTown68 welcomes

  • Kurt yo really awesome....in grunge yo only the king of grunge.......yo very hansome....

  • Kurt was the best guitar player

  • AWSOME.......

  • The shoe reference is to when Mark jumped off stage & lost his pair of purple converse in the manic frenzy pit. He landed on my friends back. Later when Sonic Youth appeared, Kim asked if anyone "Does anyone have Marks' shoes? He's walking around backstage barefoot, so please toss them up!", then a barrage of shoes came flying all over the stage, 100s. Was hilarious! I got to go backstage & drink beer with everyone, I called Mark a barefoot hippie..hah

  • I was at this show: Sat.Sept 26,1992 6:30pm (found my ticket stub, geeze it was only $16 bucks). Pavement, Kurt just showed up-acoustic doing Mark Lanegan (of Screaming Trees) songs, Mudhoney was next and Kurt came out near the end of the set for this Fang cover with one of Marks guitars (not a Telecaster!) and yes in pajamas, and then Sonic Youth.

  • pajamas AND an upside down tele-awesome

  • That guitar doesn't seem to suit Kurt...

  • i thought it was the money will roll right in?

  • @nirvanaiac96 sorry my mistake

  • @nirvanaiac96 Fang - The Money Will Roll Right In

  • @srekazinskas this song is called the money will role right in man

  • @DustynFollos "the money will ROLL right in"

  • @userneimasz like it matters

  • @srekazinskas wrong. This is the Money Will Roll Right In - Fang.

  • The freaky moves show exactly why we shouldn't put Kurt Cobain on a stage without a microphone..

  • yyyyeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

  • fuck

  • Nirvana played this at the Reading Festival

  • @CheckOutMyToys and rio

  • NICE NICE NICE

  • Any Mudhoney albums somebody recommends besides Superfuzz, Bigmuff?

  • @Demonoftheforrest

    My Brother the Cow

  • Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge, The Lucky Ones , March to Fuzz, Here Comes Sickness: The Best of the BBC.

  • @Demonoftheforrest ALL!! Start with the early recordings and go on thru, there's NOT a bad one in the batch!

  • Comment removed

  • @Roddog61 ah..who's "we"- I did. Not you.

You just smoked all the weed and were talking some profound shit.

  • Yes!!! thank you to Kurt and Mudhoney for making that performance possible!!

  • 2 best bands ever together haha

  • hahahah so awkward seeing kurt with a band more than 3 persons (inlcuding him) XD

    this rocks

  • is that Kurt in his p j's?

  • I love when people say things like this.

Why do you say this? Because he didn't do crazy finger-tapping guitar solos like Zakk Wylde?

It's difficult to find people that understand why Kurt Cobain was a great guitar player... I guess there's a reason for that.

  • I know exactly what you mean. Sound is more important than technique. Sonically he made his own sound, especially on In Utero.

It's also weird seeing him more into it playing with someone else than in nirvana.

  • agreed. i don't think anyone will ever make a song that will make people think "that sounds like Milk It" (one of my favorites)

  • yep there is something to be said about simplicity

  • great guitar player doesnt mean that he have too play crazy hard ass guitar solos, but how he make music and play it which make the audience or the people who listen to him feels good IMO

  • @sqpnt The reason kurt ruled is because he had soul for music, and was original. Thats why I look towards him as one of my influences.

  • @sqpnt Yeah! man i understand why kurt was a great guitar player he makes simple but very very grungy and good riffs grunge its not death!!

  • coz kurt was best in grunge and his performances was really amazing and sucking for every grunge rockers.....nirvana kurt cobain was the best for grunge muzik....

  • @sqpnt dude kurt cobain is not a great guitarist, sure he had a few alright riffs but technically he is not that good at all, hence all those guitar noobs covering smells like teen spirit. (btw i love that song "I hate myself and i wanna die" by nirvana but thats it)

  • well just cause their song were simple which by the way they did on purpose doesnt mean that was kurts limit, the truth is he had been playing since he was 12 he knew how to play very well, besided whos to say what a great guitarist is anyway

  • @sqpnt People can´t differ between good technical play and creativity. For sure Cobain was a creative person, but technically he truly is overrated by people. This doesn´t change the fact (at least I think so) that the process of creating makes a good guitar player, not tabbing down and up any pentatonics...

  • @sqpnt EGG FUCKIN ZAKLY!!! (btw I spelled it like that on purpose. I no I shouldnt have to say that but I guess ppl ar
