@andy63walsh: I used to own two degus who fought like this all the time. This is how they fight and it's perfectly normal. What you DO have to watch out for is if they start fighting hard. I don't know how else to explain it but it's like watching a WWF Smackdown for degus. They can and do hurt each other like this and should be separated for a while.
