  • Hi Carolyn. I have a question about the dish. Is it possible to use seafood instead of the sausage?

  • @BayouBeauti75 Why not, that sounds good too :)

  • Hey I sale princess house

  • just found your channel. Trying this recipe tomorrow for dinner. How do you keep all of your cookware looking brand new?? what type of cleaner and scrubbers do you use? I will let you know how it turns out and I will be purchasing the Grand Diamond seasoning also.

  • @easternstar12 Well this particular cookware is pretty new. I just made sure when I used it I washed it right away. Good hot soapy dish water should do the trick, but no steel wool. Green pads that have a sponge are ok b/c they're not too abrasive. Enjoy this recipe and you can also use spinach. Thanks so much hanging out with me and having fun in the kitchen :D

  • I tried this tonight, very easy. Next time I must make sure i spread the meat mixture over the whole noodle..I love your channel!!

  • @latisha8285 So glad to hear you tried the recipe. Thanks for letting me know how it turned out :D

  • @javagirl54 Thanks and enjoy!

  • I'm glad I found your channel. I'm not a bit cook but I'm trying to step up my kitchen game. This is one recipe I'm definitely going to try and I'll let you know how I go.

  • Luv your videos! You give a warm presentation and explain why you use seasonings to balance out the flavor. When I saw you take out that roll and the cheese was stretching, I wanted to hand out my plate! LOL!!! And YES I SUBCRIBED!!

  • @raineylee Thanks so much for watching and hanging with me with your fork ready to dig in LOL! I also appreciate the sub :D

  • I just made this and it turned out great. There's a couple of ingredients you could add, like I used feta cheese along with the ricotta, and substituted regular pasta with whole grain. But what really made a difference was fennel seed. If you want that pork flavor without actually using pig meat which is taboo in my house, use fennel seed. That gives it so much more flavor. Try it, you'll love it! :)

  • @NewarkBrickCity1970 Yum! Yeah Fennel is one of those ingredients that makes sausage taste like sausage. I love turkey and chicken Italian sausage because it can remove some of the guilt and the fat content lol

  • Great recipe! Love the rolls! Your video and production team, well done with the video shots. You have a nice style in presenting your recipes and shows your cooking skills.

  • OMG< this looks so amazing. I would love to make this for my family , but many of us have issues with dairy. Can you suggest non-dairy alternatives that might work? LOVE Grand diamond!!! So when can we expect to see you on the Food Network?!? You have such an amazing presence!!!

  • @bittle511 Thanks so much and I'm glad you're loving GDS and using it the way you want in your home cooking. Let me try to find some non-dairy alternatives because that's interesting and I'd like to know also :).And on Foodnetwork, from your mouth to God's ears lol Let me check on those non-dairy options.

  • @CookingWithCarolyn Ok great! I've found the main prob with many dairy--particularly cheese alt's is the texture (and with some, the taste) is sometimes rubbery, and doesn't melt. Regarding Foodnetwork--def from my mouth to God's ears!!! :-)!

  • Great recipe I must try! What are other substitutes for the turnip greens for the lasagna rolls

  • @DivaBeaute You can try spinach. Thanks :)

  • Oh yummy! This looks delicious. Gotta try it! Great video and recipe.

  • Look delicious!!!! I'll have to give this a try!!! :)

  • Nice work! Love the idea of subbing the greens for the spinach!

    ~Stephanie

  • @poshpescatarian Thanks!

  • who taught you how to cook?

  • @tanlikeme Lol, My mom taught me a few things but it was the quicker side of cooking. My Aunties are great cooks also. But I read books and I LOVE watching tv chefs for the different and latest techniques. My "Day" job also revolves around the food industry I currently supervise 28 restaurant locations. I had as much as 45 in the past...STRESSFUL Honey! Cooking is where I'm the happiest, like therapy.

  • Ok I will be in LA in july, do you cook at a restarant or etc. I will come visit you and eat your cooking. Everything you make that I have re-made has turned out great. Let me know.

  • @makaylis I'm glad you liked it, Thanks so much Hun :D

  • I noticed your cookware at the beginning of the video. I thought, "Wow! She really has clean pots and pans." Your lasagna rolls look delicious. I love the turnip greens addition and your vegetable sauce. I like to make things ahead. I'll bet the lasagna rolls could be frozen as well.

  • @Lupitamihita LOL, yeah I was giving the cookware a little extra TLC so when I did the review it would be decent. I've never freezed the lasagna rolls before becuz I usually don't freeze pastas, I've had frozen spaghetti and didn't like the results. I guess I could try with these. If you do it let me know :)

  • Looks yummy!
