yo whats up man i am also a v6 3.8L 2000 mustang owner and i love your video, screw what the haters think, i believe u did it right on the money with a side straight pipe. i have a question for you tho, i am curious about putting dual pipes on my v6 but i want them to go out on the side like yours, how did u get the pipe to go out on the side( A SHOP?) and do you have a cold air intake with the pipe or just stock?
What mad cuZ i can outperform your StageCoach of a car. this is my daily driver car and is faster than any of your rides with them stupid rims....i'm actually building a 5.0 gt that will strip that stupid paint off your toys
Hey bro I have a 2007 mustang V6 4.0. Do you think it'd sound good if I removed the muffler and straight piped it? Also how would I go about doing this? Thanks man sweet car :D
Well its a matter of choice wether you want a deep tuned sound then go with a set of Flowmasters or Maganflows and if you want deeper and loud with popping sounds go with the sraight pipe(s)....the way i have it set up is bolted right after the cats Y pipe and it runs to the side
wow that sounds like a stock v8 well done!!! im about to get a 00 v6. it has kn but otherwise stock performance wise iim thinking about not getting an exhuast sytem but just taking off the stock one and let it run through the headers. i did that to my 04 silverado and it was fucking loud but thats a v8. so is this a good idea??? im not to concerned if i lose power (if i even do)
Thanks, Yeah thats what i did, i removed the stock muffler and let it run through just the headers and cats.....go ahead and try it and about loosing power i actually feel a power gain
im thinking about doing this but right were i cut my mufflers that's were im going to put a turn down pipe, im not going to connect it to the tail pipe
I'm not gonna lie...I was really hoping you would run over your camera,lol...good sound.

can you straight pipe it without the cats? is it llegal?
Mustangkid1993 2 years ago
Yeah you can but it is illegal. i live in California and the penalty is i think $1000 and i dont know the rest of the states
24ecko 2 years ago
is that just a single straight pipe from the cat back
TysonDavid22 2 years ago
Yes it is, right from the cats
24ecko 2 years ago

falcons55 3 years ago

of course when you remove the exhaust you gain power because you get less back-pressure on your engine, lets it run more smooth and less restricted
Skwiggsgonewild 2 years ago
and it sounds pretty damn good!!!!

Thanks, it sounds even better on cold mornings/days
24ecko 3 years ago
man do u just have the straight pipes coming from the muffler..about how much did it cost u for the pipe and wat kind of mufflers do u have?
davidalw 3 years ago
No actually i had the mufflers removed but left the cat converters.... a friend of mine custom made it for me for $60

mandrgalvan 3 years ago
wow, every one with exhaust on a v6 mustang should go 2 a strait pipe setup, that sounds way better than any mufflers ive heard
GERMANPOWER90 3 years ago
