i had a performance where we had a play battle, but one side happened to be mostly power, but my side was more style. i mixed the songs myself but they had me change it to a power mix, just because they don't listen to the beat... and i had to or else they wouldn't perform. my philosophy; kill the beat any way you can, just kill it. a powerhead without musicality is just a gymnast.
