years ago I found an anime Tokyo Babylon. I loved and wanted to find any sequel for it. The two main characters struck me recently as a kind of early Yaoi, you don't see or hear any Yaoi behavior, but the entire series had a vague hidden sexual tension between them, you just go-are they or aren't they???

What recently REALLY pissed me off was those same two male characters I wanted to get together in some sequel you may recognize as the two fighting to the death at the start of X movie.

spoiler alert: in the x tv there are two different endings, the x series and the x/1999 (which i've both watched.) in the x series, camui is the one who dies due to a sacrifice for his best friend, fuma, who in return is his alternate ego, somewhat like an evil twin, while in x/1999, fuma is the one who dies because during their last battle, camui cuts his head of and cries, (lol)

x series is the episode version while x/1999 is the movie version :))
