Ive finally been able to pull myself together to listen to my mom, and listening to this it takes me back to when I was in the studio with her and my dad and I can see her precious face clearly now. In my humble opinion, she was a cornerstone in the music referred to as "Quiet Storm". When i first heard her amazing voice, it was being played on the radio here in Chicago (WBMX and WGCI) along with the likes of Phyllis Hyman, Luther Vandross, Regina Belle, Freddie jackson and other greats. She is embedded in my mind..
