try the nollie 360 flip back noseblunt on skate 3 .. my fav trick and its doable ahah i do in hardcore mode ( the most realistic mode and way to play a skateboarding game yo ) .. skate , skate 2 and skate 3 are really something else than the tonyhawks .. i had a lot of fun playing the tony hawks until skate came down on earth ahah enjoy my skate 3 video on vimeo !

What I like about it is the challenge of mastering every trick and pulling them off accurately, it's hard to sometimes get the trick you want but that's part of the fun!

realistc, maybe. but fun, hell no. the flick it controlls on skate are annoying as hell, it isnt very respinsive at all. you can try to do an ollie and it will register as a kickflip, and trying to pull of a blunt slide on skate 3 is one of the hardest things i have ever had to do in all my years of gaming.

@pivotkid85 i see where your coming from, but skate is way more rewarding after you master the controls and figure out how your supposed to approach obstacles to do certain tricks. also, i recommend playing 2 and 3, they're definitely more responsive, if that's your main problem

tony hawk makes it easier to pull off the tricks you want, because with skate you have to be extremely accurate with your thumb movement, on TH you just click specific buttons.

@pivotkid85 Well i wouldnt say that. Ive played tony hawk myself and sometimes when i push the stick and press the button it doesnt do the trick i want or does nothing. Example McTwist in Tony Hawks underground where you have to do a McTwist over the helicopter took me hours because of unresponsive controls.

well if you have the game there is a manuel that shows you how to do the tricks and if you do all the tricks in the manuel you get a acheivement if you are playing it on a 360
