Mayer, one thing that I've noticed about classroom learning is that in class, students hardly react to teachers in the classroom, as if the teacher was'nt really in front of them, but on a screen or something. It's eerie. My philosophy instructor makes fun of us, calling us "children of the screen" and says that we watch him like Big Bird. He has a very aggressive teaching style because his students are so subdued. It's sad to see participation and respect degraded. Whats happening to education?
