my parakeet has just past his 1st birthday, but now he keeps flying on to our tv and curtains. Can we still get his wings clip? also how did you get AJ to let you pick him up by his wings?
@hurricanefan98 I only clip his wings when we do tv commercials, tv shows, or travel. I let them grow out when he his home. It is good excercise for them to fly sometimes, however it can be dangerous too, if they fly into glass windows etc.
@lousywit Thank you! Ya, I don't like when you have to give them food or a treat each time. To be honest, I was poor when I started this and didn't always have treats for him.
i loves Ring necks did you say he was 20?

Nice. You illustrate that the main thing is to know your bird & what he likes to do, then make a trick out of it.
Impressive that you use a lot of verbal cues. My birds have always responded to visual cues, like your "roll over" signal.
You might like the birds in the vids on my channel. I'll check out your web site.
Blessings!

I love how you don't have to reward him with treats each time he does a trick. Just kisses and love are enough! Keep up the good work!
