This scene is a great reproduction of an epic train journey from Moscow to Baku, spreading revolutionary fervor & fraternal greetings. This mission was under Comrade Yakov Blumkin (AKA "Naum the Fearless"}, assisted by Comrades Zinoviev, Karl Radek, and John Reed. On the return trip to Moscow they were attacked by & defeated a White Guard detachment.
Is there something written on this train and the subsequent Baku conference? I've read quite a lot on the Russian Civil War and the founding of the Comintern, but I only ever see a paragraph here or there on the conference.
Unfortunately I do not know any more about this mission and the Baku conference. The little information I was able get came from a video about Yakov Blumkin that,. regretfully,, is no longer on Youtube. I do know from my studies that among Comrade Blumkin's many gifts was his ability to fluently speak many languages of the East and related very well to many Islamic nationalities. If I am able to find out anymore about this train, the journey, conference, and battle, I will post it.
Does anyone know what class of locomotive was used for the filming of these scenes?

@levbenrechab You would definitely want Blumkin around for a trip like that. Pity he wasn't depicted in the movie.

"Nash parovoz" (Our Locomotive) performed by the Moscow Radio Chorus. What a great choice for this film sequence!
