Hey really nice lick, definitely gonna be using that it future. How does the diminished descending part fit into the lick/chord progression theory wise though? I really like the sound, and I'd like to crowbar it into other applications

I love the vid BTW. also, the 2 chords you play at 0:30 appear to be G6/9 and Em7. wouldn't that be a I-vi-I progression rather than the I-V-I that you are trying to show?

@MrDjangofan i start on Cmaj, then play Emin, then G7. so it is starting on the one, then 2-5 but i do not resolve on the one because it is implied. so its is 1-2-5 with the idea that you resolve back to the 1 just as in Coquette.
