I agree man, 2k11 much much better, this year's game, the passing and shooting is screwd up, I can't hit open 3s with 99 3 pointers. your passes get stolen / intercepted all the time passing it to the paint. you dribble the ball off of people's foot, that is so fucking retarded, I think 2k just added that to piss people off. 2k11 much better my player, and had crew mode. fucking 2k, im not going to buy 2k13 until unless they make changes.

A few tips to get your teamate grade higher is to double team the man you guard almost everytime. Take good shots and bait them for a steal. Use a pump fake to get fouled. They call it about 75% of the time. You know the player animations just call a time out before he performs it to just go out of bounds or brick a layup. And when does an NBA player miss a wide open layup? The only other knock I have is the passing is terrible.

Its a good game. The problems are like most said already are the players on your team dont play like they would normally. Way to many steals and blocks are just outragous. Every game the other team has at least 10-15 which takes away from asst.. Dont like it when you block a shot and he gets the ball you lose points for a off. rebound allowed and when your post man bobbles your pass and it gets stolen its your turnover. Every baseline move the player makes goes out of bounds.

My Player mode flaws

1. Plays stop anyone from taking open shots/ trying to score on fast breaks

2. Your players play little/no defense, especially not in allstar or higher.

3. your teammates are idiots and don't play like they do in real life.

4. when your man is open he is UNSTOPPABLE, and therefore he is going to score no matter what.

5. your team runs to corners on a fast break rather the paint .

Once all these are fixed, maybe this game mode could be perfect .

The offense is also worse in 2k12. I agree defense is better, but 2k12 made what was good in 2k11 bad and what was cheap in 2k11 completely useless. 2k12 looks cool, but that is it.

I agree with you because getting to the basket is extremely difficult and taking 3's is way to easy. My slashing sg will get a contested layup that he should make but the shot quality gives me a D or C and he misses.

I don't know why you would go slashing. 2K claims all the player styles are even, but the truely dominant ones are the Athletic, Scoring, and new in 2K12 the 3PT specialist. Reroll one of those and play it as it suits their style. Some easy ways to score in 2K12 are: The Iso Escape to the 3 point line and then take a shot (3PT specialist), Do the escape dribble pull-ups (Scoring), and then drive to the rim calling for an alley-oop or just the ball to draw a foul or dunk on somebody. (Athletic).

I agree with IkeMaster33, you need to start trying to get better shots than shooting the ball OVER someone. As a SF, you would try to get to the rim as much as possible, and if you can't either get an OPEN jump shot or dish it off

If you look at the video most of the times his team has the ball, the drive ends in a turnover. The computer for the other players on your team on offense will either shot horrible shots or won't shoot at all.

It's almost as if the game knows where you're going as soon as you make a slight reaction and finds the best possible way ti strip the ball from you. The runs in the game seemed forced and its damn near impossible to score if the crowd is barely roaring for the other team. Also the offense is cheap. The "J.R Smith" effect is on full blast in this game. Overall it feels like the game is cheating to me.

a lot of the shots you are missing are when there are a few people around you, in this game when there are people anywhere near you it counts as a shot in traffic, so you should probably get your shot in traffic up

I have also founds plays to be really annoying, sometimes the pg will just stand at the 3pt line for the whole shot clock and then jack up a ridiculous airball 3, this happens quite often. It will be interesting to see what EA might come up with in the near future.

I have noticed that in franchise it is a little better so I recommend you doing that. 2k is spending too much money on marketing and not enough on development, hence ronnie2k. He's just a scapegoat for poor decisions. I'm hoping EA makes a game next year and forces 2k to STEP IT UP!
