Damon actually loves Elena. Although it is true that everything Damon felt for Katherine was real, I don't think it was ever love. Damon was infatuated with her and Katherine didn't give a damn about him. She did however, love Stefan. Delena and Steferine :3

I really think that Damon and Katherine can't stand each other. Damon never loved her as he do with Elena. He was compelled from her, always. He loved the way she made him feel and obviously she never loved him. That's why I think that has to be DE, because they are themselves always when they are together <3 And so I think for Stefan and Katherine..Stefan is more real and not a teenage boy when he's with her, SE are too formal. That's what I think ;)

@lauragiuggi I agree! There's people that say Damon & Katherine should be together cuz they seem to act the same & have more in common, but I disagree. I actually say that Elena & Damon have certain points where they are a LOT alike! I think they could be the same person sometimes by the core qualities they share! The fact that Damon became, & wants to be a better person cuz of Elena, is a plus. Damon has the ability to make Elena smile/loosen up even in the most dire situations.

So if he did kiss katherine, Elena would have only felt it when the spell was cast.. Does that make more sense now, or did i confuse you more??
