Drose is sick--can't argue that--and although him and Wall do have similarities, they are still different players with different playstyles. Drose deserved the MVP, but did you know Wall had a better assist/turnover ratio, more assists per game, more steals, and fewer turnovers last season?

Wall is definitely talented, but in the games I've seen, he could definitely put more effort into defense and moving when he doesn't have the ball. I watched a knicks game at MSG, and dude was resting on his knees in the corner for the last shot of the 3rd...I'll never forget that.Gil was still on that team though.

I think he needs to refine his game a bit more. He has great athleticism, but needs to learn to control it and learn to use it at the right time. At the moment from what ive seen, it looks like hes kind of a run and gun player which is good but needs to use more strategy and smarts when he plays.

If he can work on stuff like that he will be a great basketball player.

@dan43800 Dan, gotta disagree with you. There are definetly things he has to work on but to say he has no defense whatsoever is just not accurate. The kid plays hard and has a desire to be great at both ends of the court which is more than you can say for Wizards guards the last few years.

@WizardsExtreme Agree... His D needs work, but no more than most guys who are 19 and coming into the league. He gets at it on the defensive end so that's a great start (compare that to what you see from the previous star PG for the Wiz and it's easy to see the difference). He's got work to do but will be great in a year or two with seasoning. The guy creates on offense and competes on D.

Also, Booker... really like the guy, going to be a nice part of the franchise...

I think his D could use some help. His passing ability could be worked on a little. Wall is a strong PG and can get to the hoop and he can shoot anywhere pretty much. I think he'll make it far with the wizards organization.
