  • sungha jung is better!

  • @morsillo37 I really do not believe.

  • Bream, the master of the guitar and grandmaster of the comb over.

  • This is how it should be done...

  • wow

  • It is quite a testament to their mastery that this video has 0 dislikes right now. It makes me happy to see. Phenomenal performance with such energy!

  • para mi gusto un poco frios, pero excelentes guitarristas, pocas veces se pueden conjuntar dos maravillosos maestros. bravo!!!!!!!!

  • Mr Bream fans, thumb up!!!!

  • Also Mr. Bream is know for his Mandolin playing also.

  • @maxquad21 I believe you mean lute rather than mandolin

  • I have the CD of these two playing together. Outstanding. Once read the Julian Bream was Steve Howe's (Yes) inspiration for learning guitar. Not a bad reason id say.

  • Great performance! Thanks for posting.

  • Hoopla! really enoyed watching them play this piece, thank you for the upload! :D

Have it on an old cassette, much played and so very croaky as a result! lol

  • oooo now thats what you call class. Delightful as ever.

  • Oso ona! Soinuaren kalitatea ikaragarria da, irudiarenarekin alderatuta. I like it!

  • Beautiful

  • This must be in the mid 1970's

  • OMG, so rock 'n roll. I love how they play a little like each other, both giving everything to the music.

  • Two "beast" unleashed...truly "rare" footage here...Enjoyed.

  • Beautiful!

  • The Legend

  • It looks like the Hernandez y Aguado headstock. I heard that John Williams used to play one. It's also interesting to hear Bream without his Romanillos guitar, that one looks like Robert Bouchet. Both guitars sound great!

It's awesome how John starts to groove at 1:43.

  • Is John Williams playing a spruce top Hernandez y Aguado here? I know Bream recorded the '70's' album with one but I thought John Williams always played a Fleta before the Smallman days!

  • Bream is a master ,especially when he can mange to find the correct frets .

  • musicofdano - not quite. Reading a piece you have practiced over and over as not at all the same a sight reading. Is it sight reading to reread The Night Before Christmas again each year. Well imagine if you had just read it 50 times over the last few weeks. Not like reading for the first time.

  • how crazy is this? They're reading it-not memorized. This is like sight reading practice for these monsters!!!

  • @musicofdano dont be so quick to say that, they could very well have it memorized to the core, its just always a better idea to have the music onstage

  • @porchmonkey401k Yes. All the best sight readers use sheet music during ensemble performances.

  • @musicofdano thats not true

  • @musicofdano I agree with you. I don't think they had memorized it. If they had, they wouldn't be sight reading like this. They must have rehearsed it, though.

  • @rocharua

Nope, they had never heard this piece before and were just learning it.

  • @musicofdano ur so retarded

  • Two legends.

  • It doesn't get any better than this!

  • Two of the very best ever! TY

  • 5*****!

  • I love Julian's "animated" style-- great visual.

    5*
