Hi, I'm from Italy, I'd like to buy this incubator but first I'd like to know how many hermann's tortoise eggs and how many marginata eggs can stand in it. Could you plaese tell me the measures of the incubator? which material is made the box, it seems to be polystyrene. Waiting for you to answr. Thanks in advance
@animedoso1984 Made from High Density Plastic and the dimensions are on our website. The link is right below the video to the actual incubator page at Big Apple Pet Supply
@Supersnakes23 You will want to leave some space above the water tray because the idea is that the water is supposed to dissipate and create humidity.
just a quick question, if the power goes out, then turns back on, for instance a power surge. Will the incubater still "remeber" the settings it was at when it turns back on??
There's a web link right under the "For More Information:" on this page. That link will take you right to the web page for this item and provide you with current pricing including the FREE $30 Incubation Kit!
I have a model similar to this. I found if you put the shelf on it's lowest level and put two egg boxes up top, it leaves you space for a container of water at the bottom. Plus, there is a 2 degree difference from top to bottom, so if you set it to 90, it's 88-87 on the bottom.
It holds much better temps with two full egg boxes and a container of water in there.
Sweet!!! I've been looking at this model on your website for a while now... thinking about getting it and it's nice to actually see it in a video... this looks like a really nice incubator... but I'm thinking I will probably need one of your larger models... as I will be using it for ball python eggs as well as leopard geckos... so size will be a big deciding factor for me. It would be awesome if you could do a vid on one of your larger incubators....
The thermostat is digital... we talk about how simple it is to set your temperature on the video. The thermostat also has a built-in thermometer which shows the actual temperature as well.
oh my, this is an awesome incubator and i an definitly going to look into it, i just bought a still air hovabator for my leopard gecko eggs and bearded dragon eggs, do those incubators work?

@Supersnakes23 Check out the dimensions of this unit - it's quite big and can easily fit more than 1 clutch of ball python eggs.

liberty944 1 year ago
We think so... there is quite a bit of space in there to stack a number of boxes of eggs.

@liberty944
You're also going to want some kind of thermometer that allows you to read temps in the egg boxes without opening it. Trust me.
I have a thermometer probe in each box. I have my incubator set to 92.
It's 89 in the top box, 87 in the one below it.
Both fine temps for ball eggs.

Easily fit 2 clutches plus of Ball Python Eggs. There's quite a bit of room in that incubator!

Can i use this for bearded dragon eggs?
bigxears 2 years ago
Absolutely, as a digital reptile incubator bearded dragon eggs would definitely incubate well in this unit.

Without a doubt, this would work nicely for blood python eggs.

how long does the water last in the bottom do you change it every day
LeopardGeckoBreeder1 2 years ago
You should check regularly but it should last a few days before needing a refill.

Yes, this is a great incubator. The still air models do work but there's nothing quite like a digital unit. Plus, the price is right!
