Thx. This is bad... but I saw one chased up a tree by a dog in Waukesha Wisconsin in the 80's during late fall. The Lynx went to the top of that very tall tree and was in full view and was at full volume. We were a quarter of a mile away and the holler it made was unearthly and froze us stiff, inside and out. :)

Sorry for two posts, but hell, people are saying it's not a domesticated animal because of selective breeding... Bullshit. German Shepards and Dobermans are bred attack dogs and can yet be the most loyal and gentle of animals. Pit Bulls are bred for fighting and again, I know several which are bigger babies than my infant cousin. No animal as a species is truly domesticated. You can breed out a huge chunk of aggression, but it comes down to certain animals and their own, specific personalities.
