  • So cute!!! Im Lassie's biggest fan!! My dream is to meet her!!

  • I love lassie

  • Dee Wallace Stone and Christopher Stone were actually husband & wife at this time. They had a daughter together, Gabrielle Stone, who is also an actress. Sadly, their marriage dissolved in 1995 when Christopher died of a heart attack. He was 53.

  • Anyone find it weird? Nipper? Cox? Wow.

  • Lassies dead LOL

  • @offthahook8 You're an idiot!

  • dude, the clock in tha corner is wrong. FUCK U 4 this !! 13 ppl agree... muhahaha...

  • Fake

  • Check out my rendition of the 1967 lassie theme!

  • Comment removed

  • This has got to come out on dvd.

  • @DimeraFan28 It is out on dvd. I have a box with I think 4 dvds with three episodes on each.

  • i always wanted a dog like lassie when i was little..lol i still do :D

  • since i 1st watched this i've always wanted a dog like lassie :)

  • The first few notes of that Lassie theme song STILL make me bawl my eyes out to this day. *honks nose in tissues*

  • I remember the BBC in England being keen on the film where Lassie joins the Norwegian Resistance in the war and beats the Nazis. Odd how a dog could do so well.

  • they should have thrown a bone over a cliff for Lassie to fetch, to see if she'll come home lol.

  • Where's the WHOLE intro??? What a pity that the first 19 seconds were so useless!

  • I love Lassie,She has all the charisma and charm for her to be the perfect dog star in Hollywood, only Rin Tin Tin could claim that title too.

  • I only saw and taped a few of this series, it wasn't as good has the orginal and the series was before my time.

  • lassie I so miss you^^...

  • In the right corner on the screen, 0:00 - 0:41, you can see a little clock.

I wonder why they removed that clock. It's a good way to follow time without a watch.

  • or looking at a clock.

  • LASSIE WAS A DUDE TRUE STORY

  • true but lmao!

  • @Killenwolf so what,The male shettis are better to train than the females, but that doesn't mean she's not a girl as a star.

  • i don't remember this remake and am just old enough to remember the original. For years, there were rumors that Jon Provost who played Timmy in the original series had died. I guess his appearing in the remake puts the kibosh on that!

  • Dave78m Tommy Rettig, the ORIGINAL boy on the "Lassie" TV show died. So did Jan Clayton, the original mother and George Cleveland, Gramps. These were the original characters from the long running show. Tommy Rettig felt that he was getting to old for the show, George Cleveland died in real life, and Jan Clayton wanted to do other things. As a result, Timmy, Cloris Leachman as his Mom, and eventually June Lockhart joined the show. Things sort of went down after Tommy Rettig left.

  • What happened to the rest of the theme? I know there was more to that.

  • I LOVE and miss lassie

  • Hey is the mom from ET and Critters

  • how many lassie series were there? O_o

  • someone please upload some episodes from this show

  • Yeah, esp. the "reunion" one (where June and Jon appear)

Fond memories of seeing this late noon/early evening on Sundays, think it was on WWOR.

  • Thats Dee Walas Stone;what year was this show? Cetainly looking differant from when she was in E.T.,and Cujo.

  • Woof !!

  • Wow thanx for posting, now post some episodes someone thanx

  • poor mutt never could rest always having to run to save someone or another aniamal

  • That dog may be already dead

    A kind of a silly comment huh?:P

  • well every dog has his day lol

  • They'd find another similar looking trained collie to pass the torch too if the show returned.

  • The begining was pointless. I can totally tell a difference between the old and new lassie. This Lassie is much more brighter, the old one was more tan and had such a bigger head. This ones cute too but even the new Lassie died like I think in 2006. Now there's an '09 Lassie.I think Dee Wallace Stone starred in Ghostbusters.

  • my childhood ......... i miss this

  • No-oo. No. You don't.

    (It's a dog.)

  • my sister, Wendy, was on this show. it's kinda fun to be able to just pull it up on youtube and send the link to friends. thanks for putting it up.

  • I don't believe you.

  • That won't stop Wendy from being her sister.

  • thank you. no it won't stop her from being my sister. i'm a 'him' though, not a her. she's my younger sister. we also have an older brother.

  • Me neither. Nobody would want to be in a series where the star was a DOG, haha, that's would be awesome-stupid.

  • i'll take that as a compliment. if i didn't have a younger sister, and i had to make one up, i couldn't think of a better one. she's pretty awesome.

  • when was this show?

  • 0:19 click here to skip the horrible 19 second intro of this 50 second worthless clip.

  • What's that, Lassie? You wish this show was available on DVD? So do I... :-)

  • Mar Kjartansson Great Movie clip with a sweet Dog.Can you help the Wolfe´s with comment then clic with the mouse on my name and go into my favorite. Bring my to live Wolf. And VARGHATET

  • Will Nipper was awesome.

  • This isn't the Tommy Rettig/Jon Provost version of "Lassie," which was the show at its best from the CBS run, but I heard this was a good revival, and Provost occasionally co-starred on it (virtually undoing his relationship with "The Martins"), and Rettig guest starred as "Jeff," in what would be his last acting role before his very premature death.

I wish this version of "Lassie" would be released on DVD. It hasn't been aired in America since possibly a run on Animal Planet several years ago.

  • This version of "Lassie" co-starred Will Estes (going by his real name of "Will Nipper"), who would later co-star on the superb Dick Clark-produced, NBC-TV drama "American Dreams," set in & revolving around the lives of one family and their friends in Philadelphia at the time of the original "American Bandstand" series in the early 1960's.

In fact, that was probably Clark's best TV work besides the original "Bandstand," except possibly his hosting of the "Pyramid" game shows.

  • lassie is sooooo cute!!!

  • Does this mean Lassie died? What the hell?!!!!

  • You know... This is what kids tv programms should be.

  • wasnt leonardo dicaprio in one of the episodes?? i think he was...

  • he was.I love Leonardo dicaprio and lassie <3

  • :( suck beautiful times when I was a kid I used to watch this, brings me beautiful memories!!

  • harika video. tv1 olması daha da nostaljik yapıyor.

    cumartesileri yayımlanırdı...

  • :( such beautiful times when I was a kid I used to watch this, brings me beautiful memories!!

  • omg used to watch this on sunday mornings and also watch the new munsters this brings back memories

  • Lassie kicks ass

  • Call me a sap but I watched it and enjoyed it. I was always a big fan of Christopher Stone and was saddened when he died suddenly a few years back.

  • I did not even know he is dead. What was the cause of his death?

  • He had a heart attack.

  • The last I heard, Wendy Cox is in real estate with her husband.

  • wow ur sad...

  • That's Jon Provost (Timmy) all grown up, and that Wendy Cox is now a porno chick.

  • I love this video and hope whoever posted it will soon post the second half. Boy it brings back vast memories for me, and I'd sure love to relive those days when the show is released on TV again or DVD!

  • I love Lassie.

  • Beatiful

  • This is a beautiful introduction clip to a series that I've treasured for years! My memories of this show are from the summer of 1995 when it was airing on The Family Channel on weekday afternoons. I was a teenager then and found the close affectionate relationship between Lassie and all of her friends and family so touching.

  • Wendy was so hot. cool clip

  • She's now a MILF.

  • Really cute and great movie clip

  • This looks pretty old

  • it was made back in the 90s
