seeing as though i use a netbook as my primary personal computer I think it is a hell of a lot better than an iPad. like to see someone try to write out an assignment or go online and look at some flash on that (HTML5 may be better but flash is used ALOT)

First of all, Netbooks ARE better than Smartphones. They can do WAY more stuff. Second of all, if we adhere to his standard for defining a third category, then the iPad has no reason for being. It's just a giant iPod touch. Steve Jobs has burned his own product and spoken incorrectly about Netbooks at the same time.  PWND.

meh, netbooks suck end of story. i had one for a little bit and it was incredibly slow. i see more people with iPads and Android tablets then netbooks now. even before the tablet craze, i never saw a lot of people carrying netbooks.

I'd like to see halo combat evolved run on an iPad. And see the controls improve compared to the pc version. Jobs is an idiot. A touchscreen is so limited when it comes to games. Netbooks still dominate the market if you ask me. Its simply because they take the whole pc experience and make it in a portable form factor. Obviously jobs never heard of Nvidia ion 2.
